Since we can't even control stats, so I don't see the negative in bumping the ilv of PvP drops in general. Even if PvP drops ended up having a higher ilv than PvE drops, I can't see how that would be a bad thing (considering that stats are random and PvP doesn't have any set bonuses / good trinkets).
I think you have to be like 1800 for a normal arena drop (non weekly) to be the same ilevel as an LFR drop. Who at blizzard thought this makes sense is what I want to know.
.
-remove template
-bring back conquest and honor gear system
-bring back customization in PvP

As mentioned having gear lvl on pair with pve, set bonuses from PVP, gear, reforging, sockets and even some PVE gear was actually fun part of pvping.
At least maybe allow for people who get to 2k to get instant transmog of current elite gear, also please for the sake of saving PVP do something with tabards why are they so ugly, we know you can do it, wrath is a good example.

They didn't put two and two together to figure out that having a bunch of short season keeps the overall average rating of the whole ladder rather depressed. It makes the hard capped barriers like "2K" for elite or 2200/400/700 achieves more difficult to get for all but a select few.
The answer is simple why this is the case. WoW is a PvE centered game, always has been, always will be. PvP was really just supposed to be big group battles via battlegrounds such as AV. It was not supposed to be this awesome way to get solid gear. And the classes were never intended to be balanced around 3v3. Which is literally the reason we have these nonsensical changes to our classes. It's the consequence of trying to cram large scale battle designs into small team battles(3v3).
Arena is fun, it's great in concept. However in reality, it's one of the big reasons PvP has been going downhill for a long time now. I'd say cut our losses and focus on balancing around 10v10 and so on. But I think wow is too far gone to fix that now.

Can't refute a single point, all of this is 100% true and respectfully stated. I've been saying this since the launch of Legion where it became instantly evident you must pve to be competitive in pvp. To quote Brian Holinka during the Legion Beta interview "trust us, we've done the math, you will NOT have to pve to be competitive in pvp." Holinka either outright lied or didn't even know the compenents/ system of his own department. Neither answer should sit well with the pvp player base.
Everything stated here has been expressed in a factual and elegant way. The fact it comes from someone with remarkabke credibility (unlike me) and pvp experience, I sincerely hope the devs take action.
Also, if I might add, this current system for gearing in pvp is not favorable to someone who enjoys playing multiple toons in pvp.

i cant even say whats the big problem of pvp, if it is the random !@#$ ilv drops or the lack of rewards.
Ah.... no blue until now too and new pvp lead design (if there is one atm) is hidden.
blizz plz fix,This needs to be bumped to the top until blizz fixes this
The PvP community has been slapped around for way too long now.

Unless it’s on gd it won’t get attention.
And if someone places it there convos about mogs and bpets will drop it out of view
bump
Bring back The pvp sets from vendors, there is no reason why they needed to be removed. This would also help pure pvp players to not be FREE KILLS in actual world pvp.
Everyone just unsub these devs are not going to put love into pvp until subs go down and their bosses yell at them for sucking at their jobs

You first
atleast make it 930 base
And make prestige worth it, because so far theres no motive to get higher prestige
Have us get a piece of elite gear or something every prestige we get

-We have dk's using deathgrip as an interrupt when that's not it's intended use.
-We have classes with specs that have slows and roots that can't be dispelled when logically they are presented to us as magical abilities. This is a fantasy game.
-We have healers that have unlimited mana, but then get rekt in dampening because they never learned to heal properly. They just ran away for 15 minutes straight
lol what? you get more incoherent as you ramble along
