I already had 5 friends I normally pvp with quit over the gearing. Can we please have this addressed somehow? gearing in pvp is outright bad

More than half my friends list quit because of gearing. They dont want to jump into arenas, rbgs, and lose to teams that mongo and dont kick but still win because they have 30+ ilvl higher. On top of that, RNG gives them worst stats on every piece of gear.

Weekly Conquest
As discussed in the past, we’re introducing a conquest system based upon past designs. You will earn conquest from doing PvP activities (mostly rated, but some also from War Mode) that will fill a bar for a reward each week. This is intended to be attractive to the average player.

One of our biggest goals with the new system is to better align the effort and reward in contrast to all of the other parts of the game, especially at the lower rankings who perhaps in Legion (or in the past) didn’t see it as worth their time. I think we can all agree that more players doing competitive PvP is a worthwhile goal.

I think pvp gearing is the worst it has ever been. I wish we could hear a blue take on this.

The actually achieved the exact opposite of what their intentions were for weekly conquest. its harder for people with lower ratings. the cap item is not attractive at all, since most of the time its not an ilvl upgrade. And even if it is, more than likely it wont have the stats you want for your toon, making the 10+ ilvls higher it is and actual downgrade. Because of it, it left many people people to quit the game and go play other games.

Daily bump, bring back vendors.

Well what makes it worse is they’ve nerfed the drop rate of gear in arena highly frustrating

It’s honestly terrible. Cap conquest for the week to get a piece that’s not an upgrade. At least I have my chest on Tuesday to look forward to … aaaaand it’s a staff as an Ele shaman. Good news though, this weeks reward is a trinket I already have. Praying to the rng gods I get drops or I’m just wasting my time

This week was so awesome. Do darkshore on Tuesday after the patch hopeing for something extra good, a 375 wrist drops from the boss, the EXACT SAME wrist I have 400 drops turning in the quest, and because I’m trash pvp’r my Tuesday box had… wait for it… a combatant 385 wrist lololololol.

Noob question for the bump. If I try to shadowmeld a Gpyro let’s say, and I have dots on me, will the dots make me out of stealth? Thanks
