Blizzard has community managers to heard audience needs. Where are they? 700 posts topic. They'd live here to calm down people.
C’mon! What's wrong with ’em?
If they keep screwing us, I start LinkedINing the topic to Blizzard CEO etc. to show how our problems, suggestions, and experiences are ignored by devs and community managers.
Believe me, that won´t work, we had to wait about 3 years for Holinka to get sent to clean the sewers where he got all his ideas from.
2 months and 36 pages of criticism/feedback and still no hotfix
Amazing

No man, it is too late to "Fix" anything on this xpac, they will just let the PVP community to die of progress Starvation, but lets hope for BFA they actually do something.
since #soloque is dead this is the only hope we have left

Of course, when they fix it so PVP gear is competitive again, there will be a 21 page thread from pvers who feel forced to pvp for gear.
This has been a no win situation for years, and it has literally gone back and forth for years. Either pvp gear is good and pvers are unhappy, or pvp gear is bad and pvpers are unhappy.
They'll probably do something like make gear irrelevant in world pvp with scaling to try and bandaid it
With the change in the realms that the blizzard promised pve players will not be forced to do pvp and they will have nothing to complain about
Many PvE and part-time PvP will say look that 5% doesn't really matter.
This is so hypocritical given raid teams strive for min/max. Imagine showing up for guild mythic raid run and saying meh, that 1% food buff not really necessary or that flask no big deal.
Stop diminishing PvP'ers desire and want to min/max as much as PvE. PvP used to be a game in its own, fun, and you were motivated to gain honor/conquest along with MMR to purchase gear. PvP state is awful and we need a course change back to the way it was when it mostly worked.
I wish Blizzard would respond and give us an official response. Imagine how happy the pvp community would be just knowing that yes BFA will have PvP gear that can be purchased with conquest and honor currency from PvP vendors. With the current state of PvP is that to much to ask for?
i love this current system of gearing because i get the same 4 neck pieces in a row xDD plz bring vendors back before i die
Gearing has been boring since WOTLK ended and they removed rating requirements.
Bumping this because the PVP community needs real stimulation so it doesn’t die out.
I joined in mid MoP and pvp back then was perfect. I got stomped out by people in conq gear until I got fleshed out in honor gear and grinder my conq set out. That end game progress gave me a sense of accomplishment and combined with stat customization it was perfect.
I don’t hate templates now but there isn’t a clear way to hear anymore. I want them to let us grind out the honor and buy complete sets instead of RNG.
I still have 915 shoulders on my 950 main lock I make a piece of gear from echoes of battle for my shoulder slot 1-2 times per week and haven’t gotten even a warforge yet lul
It'd be nice if we could get some more incentives. Great gear used to be the #1 incentive to get people in the arena and to keep playing. The weekly conq cap worked and was a great idea, I don't understand why that was removed. It seems that the pvp approach every expac is throw everything at the wall and see what sticks... Bring meaningful gear back. Maybe more rating requirements tiers like 1800 elite armor mog, 2k elite weapon mog, 2200 (Toy, mount, illusions etc.) 2400, The expansions weapon illusion, 2600 tabard. It's incentives like this that drive people back to arena.

Jeez, what happened to the wow pvp dev team man.
I love that I’ve gotten legendaries from Arena! I love that you can even get gear from it, as I prefer to get gear from PVPing than Argus, but if you want to break 920 this is absolutely correct. Rewards need to be adjusted to be higher base item level than they are now.
i just re subbed not long ago. not played since mop. i love to pvp and do very little pve but some. now i find out pvp gear is not chosen by me but slapped in my inventory at random from doing bgs and what not. and the gear is nothing compared to pve gear. and i get talents now for my honor points. that i can only use in pvp instances ?
YAY .. wait no ..... whats the complete opposite of yay ?
Keep templates, give us a grind for gear so we can see our progression.
I will admit, when I'm grinding out gear, it's great to see that my character is progressing and getting stronger with gear. I finish up a few BGs and I've now got enough for a head piece. I go purchase my piece and now I have my first PVP gear. But now I have to go back into BGs and get destroyed for the next few hours/weeks/months before I can play competively.
Keep the templates so the playing field is somewhat levelled. Increase stats as you do with each item level increase.
Gear is a progression that we look forward to but we don't want our asses handed to us unfairly.
Bring back tokens to buy PVP gear so that our characters get stronger, don't need to do PVE content BUT keep templates in PVP to ensure a fair fight.
I hate Warlords of Draenor, but one of the few good things on that expansion is the PvP gearing System, in my opinion is the best of all WoW...
I understand the idea of the template system but tbh it makes no sense that a 890 warrior even stands a remote chance against my 960 main lock that I’ve put days and weeks and months into. I should be reducing him to absolute dust. Until he grinds like I did and is 960 as well. I don’t even get excited from gear anymore. And I’ve done an insane amount of arenas and RBGs on my mainlock and have gotten like 1 legendary from pvp lul
