PvP gearing is bad and not fun (HELP)

I sent like 10 of those conquest boxes to my priest alt and 4 of them were haste vers staves.

Hey Microsoft, if you happen to see these threads please take action. Hundreds of thousands will return if arena is made accessible. (if not millions)

Sending prayers to anyone who has been kicked/silenced in pvp for as long as blizzard has been silent on this thread.

Keep the faith homies - pvp changes the community wants coming in WoD classic.

Just hit 60 on this priest like a day or two ago and started the arena grind, did some 3s for a bit ended up hitting 2k CR-ish area with the friends I was playing with and halting just past 1700 rating running our meme comp and then pushing to 1800 with some 2s to make sure I got the Rival gear for my free drop next Tues.

I would NEVER wish this gearing experience on anyone, it’s so frustrating and worst of all it feels unrewarding. I’ve played 116 instanced PvP matches in 2 days (low numbers I kno, gotta pump those up) and have what like 6 pieces of Conquest gear, have to upgrade each one 8 times with an insane amount of honor, and I have to play against people with 20-30k more hp than me on the regular with only a pittance of conquest pts and honor rewarded per WIN. Random BGs for honor are an absolute mess, good luck making any strides you’d be better off just farming arena until your fingers bleed despite the former supposedly being the casual version of PvP. Rated BGs are also just as bad with either you not getting in at all because you don’t have gear, or you get into a 0CR team and end up playing against 1800 teams like I did tonight because Blizz’s matchmaking is nonexistent and they chased all their players away.

At this point I really think they should make arena gear equalized with titles, cosmetics, mounts as rewards. With Lost Ark arenas and Guild Wars 2 arenas not requiring any grinds for gear and Blizzards bad reputation lately I don’t see WoW arenas lasting much longer, if you can even say it’s still alive. It’s an outdated system.

do not let this die

Keeping this thread bumped seems like a form of protest.

I’m all for it. I wanted to play a premade with my buddies yesterday and every single game we were graveyard farming because the gear discrepancy is insane. That is not a fun bg.

We didn’t have fun. They didn’t have fun. Fix pvp gearing. It isn’t fun. Nobody enjoys this.

Honor gear is 259 item level.

You actually think people are at full 256 two weeks after the new season?

Thread was created 5 years ago and pvp gearing is still trash.
Five years to get it right blizzard, five years to press a reset button to WoD smh

Rated is down to 5-7% of the playerbase

It’s a joke

Used to be equal to all of regular raiding

Bliz doesn’t seem to care about pvp players that won’t grind pve cuz it doesn’t serve their metrics

I guess they are waiting until there are maybe 10 horde players still participating.

Curious where you find this info?

I would have guessed a much lower figure tbh.

Dunno, but here’s my forty seconds of research.

i wonder how many times this is gonna get bumped before blizz decides to go back to the best gearing system they had for pvp lol

would save everyone, including themselves, a headache.

They have scaled ilvl to 239 in solo shuffle on all shadowlands gear. SO I don’t see why not just scale EVERYONE’s gear and customisation can come in the form of secondary stat hunting.

See my post below.

gotta love venurki crying on awc stream about how aegis is broken while ignoring the fact that resolve trinket should be removed from the game just because he plays frost mage LUL

Probably because scaling is worse.

Also there is further scaling besides the scale down in Solo Shuffle. I got hit with a 26k glaive throw earlier.

u missed him actively shilling the resolve trinket? he didn’t miss a chance to mug real hard that it has counterplay and downsides

Completely! I was just thinking that… you can come into pvp with a 255 pve ilvl and it’s still a 255 i lvl so you’re not terrible. Yet if you go into PVE content with a let’s say a 260 PVP ilvl your damage is trash because it gets scaled down. Why doesn’t PVE gear get scaled down in PVP?
