Love to see heās still fighting the good fight. Hate to see thereās still a fight to be fought. What an absolute disgrace. We need the equivalent of Gordon Ramsey in the game dev world. Someone to go in there and really scream at them. Almost like a scared straight for game devs.

Iām pretty sure we could pump this 1000 x and all unsub and they would still keep to their guns. As long as the token exists, we will have gear locked behind rating.
Theyre here to make money and thats exactly what theyre doing.
1 player leaves but next player buys 10 tokens. Do you think they care about that one player ?

lol it is blizzard they donāt look at feedback, at least not often, after 10+ years of people asking for it they are gonna implement a rated soloQ on 9.2, probably when this thread reach 10+ years (if the game still exist by then) they will improve this
Iām really excited for shuffle. Hopefully it gives a good amount of conquest + honor.

Straight up just not buying the next expansion unless they do this. Coming off BfA, Shadowlands left me so burned by the gearing bait and switch.

Nope, and thatās why the game is dying. Sooner or later the BIG red Truck will be seen or it will run them over. I agree token and boosting selling is the problem.

So much this! Been saying this since legion and I thought the gear situation was bad then for PvP, man was I wrong.
Just came back from a year and a half break to find my friendlist inactive and that the PvP has yet to be fixed. Itās literally as simple as making the gear like it was in WoD that scales without needing to upgrade or having tiers to it. It made the pvp so addicting I never wanted to log. Arenas all day everyday on multiple toons and it was a blast to level alts and actually be able to have a full conquest set on all toons without an insane grind.
Also get rid of Rating discrepancies it alienates new players and low rated players bad, especially when the gear gap is this rough. I have talked to some PvP players out there who will never break 1500 and have tried for years and never able to pass 1300 yet they have a love for PvP. Some people just lack spatial awareness or just canāt learn the game like others and for them to be at such a massive disadvantage due to gear only pushes them away. I mean they love PvP as much as us players who hit high ratings, so why do them like that? Itās unnecessary and hurts the pvp community and pvp population. I really hope blizzard opens their eyes and gives us a system that is the WoD PvP gearing system.

@draxomancer Well said. Can you imagine not having the grind to be able to play and enjoy the game?
The WoD gearing system would make me level the hell out of my alts and spend all my free time in arena. Not to mention how many friends would return. (I havenāt played in months)
Blizz would see playtime skyrocket and re-sub / new sub $$$ trump token sales. No doubt.
