Its just such a simple math really, its boggling why it is understood by so few:
When there is an unhealthy relationship of extremes:
predator/prey = graveyard farmers/ungeared trash
There are only 2 viable solutions with the potential to stop the abuse that doesn’t involve knee jerk reaction of separating said predator/prey come in mind:
- Weaken the predator
(ethical dedicated players who win by skill, not by scarcely available ahead-of-the-curve gear would have no problem to have their curve-exceeding gear getting downscaled to a baseline cap available in that level range and relying on their skill to win)
and/or
- Strengthen the prey
(decent casual players who keep their gear reasonably up to the curve via commonly available in-game means would have no problem of meeting or exceeding that easy threshold)
That’s not rocket science. That’s common sense.
