PVP flag stuck on

I transferred off a pvp realm 2 days ago and to pagle and I am still permanently pvp flagged as is half or more of my guild that transferred with me. From the interface it does nothing to select disabled. Issuing the /pvp command gives the text about it being toggled on or toggled off but it never actually goes away. Getting half the guild to flag so heroism works is beyond annoying. 100 day ticket wait time is not all that attractive either.

I have tried toggling on and off, /reload, closing/opening client, and all those sorts of things.

Agreed. A few Grizzly Hills quests come to mind, plus anything in the zone of Wintergrasp.

When you used the /pvp command the second time, did you wait for the 5min timer?

It was only of the venture bay quests. It wasn’t listed as “PvP” in my quest log but when I dropped it the timer started to unflag.

Those quests are 100% PvP quests, whether they’re labeled that way or not, and always have been.

The fact they’re not labeled appropriately is a bug, but it used to be common knowlege.

If you think it’s a bug or should be noted regardless don’t be afraid to use the in-game Suggestions or Bug Report feature (escape key → Support menu) or use the forum to do so. (Though not in the CS section, devs don’t check here!)

I could definitely be mis-remembering, but I don’t think they had those PvP labels during Wrath. In fact, I think it was the Venture Bay quests which led to Blizzard creating the PvP label in the quest log, and adding text to the quest details that you will be flagged for PvP if you accept this quest.

Granted, this is a feature I would’ve added for Wrath Classic, knowing how it ended the first time around. But “authentic Classic experience”, or some such phrase…

I would definitely recommend posting in the Bug Report Forum (just in case), and adding a suggestion to the Classic Wrath forum.

If memory serves, this is correct. And they still never marked the original quests as PvP, though they still flagged you for it. Other than the quests in TBC that told you they flagged you.
