we can’t even use the legend pennants in actual pvp i doubt they would put another reward that’s actually decent in pvp to compensate for the moving of the chant again.

This is just the result of what happens when people start to give less of a damn about WoW in general, and when games start to “die” off. Not a dead game right now by any means, but if you compare it to the expansions all the way into Mists of Pandaria? Yeah definitely looks like it, relatively.
I’m so glad we have shuffle now. I’m actually looking forward to pushing 1950! If it was just lfg 3s, I’d dread the chore in having to wait in group finder just to play with people who dip after 1 loss

Man you are serving up shart takes like it’s your full time job. This change probably does the opposite of what you said people getting their first enchants will get a rush of dopamine and probably start playing more PvP than ever before. I know back when I got my first rival I was so pumped, same for duelist , elite. Each one made me play more. I’m sure when you fotm rerolled dh to cheese elite in s2 you felt great or when you abused ret/war/fw and gave them an hourly wage for your first glad it felt great. Now I don’t want to see anything else get pushed lower and hurt the prestigiousness of it but the enchant whatever is what it is

Most people don’t play past 2.1 for the illusion because getting to 2.4 let alone 2.4 and wins is considered way too hard. And now that the illusion is 150 points lower AND there’s no rewards until 2.4? It’s gonna be dead as hell.
Maybe you’re right, they keep making rewards easier and easier and people quit sooner and sooner

I don’t think that’s what does it. I know I never pushed for legend because there was no point, what does it give ? Who cares. They still have the duelist achievement and coveted elite tabard ahead. Something actually worth playing for that is quite a large gap but maybe make the god awful cloak the midpoint.
If I play a season seriously, I can hit 2.1 for illusion. Besides Unchained, I’ve never hit glad, and I just don’t have the time anymore to invest into getting good enough to get to that point. After 1950 now, I don’t need to play unless it’s just to cap conq for the gear. That’ll probably be first week or two tbh

I don’t care about getting a title that I only have til the end of the season. And for me personally it’s too much of a hassle to push further than 2.1 especially with no rewards inbetween 1950 and 2.4 lol. The amount of people that played at 2.1 was low enough let alone above that. Doesn’t matter how easy that bracket may be for you, for the player base it’s not easy or attainable.
So again, for those who had a tough time getting 2.1 or those who can’t hit 2.4 why would they bother playing after 1950 now?

I suppose nothing really changes than you either were going to stop playing at 1950 or 2100 overall for the game it doesn’t really make a huge difference unless your push between the two took a season.
