I think without needing to make any other changes this would have been a healthy change, that would have been mostly well received.

duelist always had that garbanzo cape. no new rewards for it is so ughhh 
only nice capes ive seen so far were the ones from shadowlands.
P sure the cape was elite.
I thought it was Duelist but nobody noticed or used it.

nah cloak has always been a duelist reward. i got cosmic prestigious cloak and i didn’t hit elite during that season.

I got duelist in s2 and don’t recall getting the obsidian cape 
i didn’t get elite in obsidian and have the cloak.

Finally a person who gets it. Veterans are small and leave the game, new players come in and don’t care about prestige cause why would they?
I really wish they’d just add a way to q 3s solo/duo/trio already.
I really think it’s a tech limitation and project/capacity constraints. They just don’t see the value in implementing the feature at this time.
These companies HATE investing in something unless they can clearly quantify the impact. Exhibit A: look how PvE LFG UI got an overhaul while PvP was ignored.

1950 seems a tad low, though I’m all for more rewards at accessible ranges.
Get ready for a dead ladder above 1950 lol. People that had a hard time hitting 2.1 for the illusion aren’t gonna push any higher and the people that pushed past 2.1 but can’t hit 2.3/2.4 or barely can aren’t going to either cause now 2.4 is even further away. And with less people q’ing past 1950, games will be harder and take longer to get.

avg player isn’t getting that its why they dropped enchant to 1950. gonna lose alot of people who would normally go for enchant above 2.1 is what it is tho.

Illusion went from:
2400-2100-1950; even lower than legion elite set rating requirement.
No wonder it looks like crap.
Add an tyranny illusion at 2400 to replace it move tabard to 2100.
