Pvp elite sets requirement are way harder than its pve counterpart

Getting Aotc is a joke, and +15 keys also are not that difficult yet pushing to 1.8k it can be so much harder than those two.
My Cr now is 1.7k and i can get to that rank with some group i make in lfg without much of a problem, but getting into 1.8k? its a world of pain, it can get so much stressfull when i make a group thats its not very good, pick another and keeps going and spend hours to return just to square one.
Pvp elite sets should be like 1.6k or something, theres no way in hell 1.8k its the equivalent pvp content for Aotc or +15

pvp elite sets don’t need to keep being dropped down

they need to meet in the middle and be 2k again

there should be rewards to keep players invested and pushing but something as iconic as the seasonal elite gear shouldn’t be so diluted and free

comparing it to pve counterparts is also irrelevant
you get 465 gear from 2400+ arenas just like you get 465 gear from +15s

i can 3 man +15s with my boosting community
i cant 1 man 2400 wins

you know elite sets were originally 2200 right

and you start off arena with a default, baseline mmr of 1500

how hard could it possibly be to gain just 300 mmr and maintain it

interestingly, i wonder what toon you played in legion to earn both your 1750 and 2000 achievement on the same day, then turn around and ask for elite sets to be lowered to 1600

Elite pvp sets are the same model as a full Mythic Raid set, so I don’t know what the problem is. If anything, it’s easier to get 1800 than farm a full transmog set from Mythic raiding. BFA sets look like trash anyway

1800 this late into the season just requires you to be sort of geared honestly. Just keep playing it will happen for sure.

With people echo farming now you’ll occas run into people who just destroy you easily, Just play through it.

demon hunter…not that it matters, some friends of mine at the time helped me to get at 2k its not like i can just do it again but pugging random groups

fair, but theres no reason for elite sets to be lowered any further. theyve already lost all meaning by having a complete set by 1800. theres nothing “elite” about getting 1800, 1800 is just a sign you have potential.

i simple cant agree to that sorry.
pvp just seems way harder than pve in how its reward system works, and requires way more skill, and its way more stressfull.
to be perfectly honest, i feel like between being a harcore pvp vs pve player, being a pvp player i dont lose anything since i can just catch up later.

my whole problem with the system overall, its that no matter how people bring that pvp and pve are not comparable, pvp is just clearly way harder…
i started doing pve stuff 4 expansion later after i started playing the game, and when i did catching up to mythic it wasnt much difficult.
But while doing the elite pve stuff did not required too much skill of my part, the pvp counterpart its simple too much for me, they´re not equivalent

There is nothing “elite” about getting to 1600 or 1800 or even 2k. Lets please not lower the elite sets prestige any more. Strive to get better instead.

Anyone who spends 30 seconds looking into your toon will see that a lot of the claims you’re making are based entirely on opinion and not action.

You haven’t timed a single 15 key so how can you say it’s harder to get 1800 than it is to time a 15 when the highest you’ve times is a +11?

You also say there’s nothing “elite” about mythic raiding but you’re only 4/12 which honestly the first 6-7 bosses are generally a push over and require better mechanics. Hell the first boss you encounter with any form of serious raid wiping mechanics is Xanesh and that’s just a matter of reps.

If M+ and Mythic were as much of a push over as you’re claiming you’d have further progress to back these claims up.

The problem is the reverse with PVP - which is to say outside of elite set which you are now fed in pieces rather than unlocking at 2k, tabard, and mount at much higher rating. There’s really no reason to PVP, especially considering you get higher rewards for doing things like heroic or mid tier m+ than you do for getting anything sub 1600-1700.

Not trying to turn this into a flame session but you should really look into what’s so challenging to you and try to fix that rather than crying that it’s too hard.
