Having a rotating PvP daily BG similar to Wrath would probably be the surest way to get people queueing for different BGs. Making sure the BG still rewarded considerable honor in a loss, fresh alts/solo queue players are likely to stick around.

I agree but the issue is that it’s not efficient in terms of honor and time/efficiency. I played about 4-5 WSG yesterday, won all of them, had fun but the honor gains were NO WHERE NEAR what it was queuing AV.
For anyone that cares about honor and isn’t 6-min pug stomping, it’s just not worth it unless they buff WSG and AB and/or nerf AV - in addition to implementing matchmaking with premade vs premade
You like WSG and AB = you were part of a premade and like to pug stomp (in his mind)

Say like +2500 honor for a WSG win. I might try to get that daily win at that amount.
Buff it significantly probably or reduce AV honor - the strong popularity in AV at the moment is just all those ppl being cost efficient

Yes but as a solo queue player I feel if I had a quest award 2500 more honor or something for a WSG win I would probably try to get 1 win a day (assuming it had active games).

Maybe they should limit WSG to 15 mins, add a moronic rule where the last cap wins the game and then add a new BG called ‘classic seething shore’ and make sure it pops 80% of the time, regardless of what you queue. That should fix classic era pvp imo.
It would only amount to 17500 a week so people would still get the bulk from AV, but this would give life to the other bgs. Right now there’s almost never a game going for either unless it’s peak hours.
Ok, ill spell this out slowly. I dont have any crayons but i promise to use small words. I know most of you already know what im about to say but are actively refusing to acknowledge it anyway.
AB/WSG have been Premade Playground for 4 years. Solo queue players were forced to queue it because AV never popped, because it wasnt enough honor outside weekends to bother and once exalted that left zero reason to run it. Why? Because bracket fixing, pool expanding and other tricks organized by the people most of you claim never existed ensured that as a solo queuer you were guaranteed to hit a glass ceiling around rank 6 or 7 in AV.
That glass ceiling is gone now. And as a result, people no longer feel forced to throw themselves into the Premade Meat Grinders of AB/WSG. And because they arent forced to, they choose not to. Why? Because no matter how good the honor COULD be, having an at-best coinflip chance of getting steamrolled and farmed out and game ruined by a premade and getting next to zero or actually zero honor was never enjoyable. It was anti fun.
Now, we can all lie and deny the reality of how AB/WSG have worked for years but most of us are sick of that. We all know what the score was. It was 90%+ Premades dodging other premades looking for solo queue teams to farm out and then anytime anyone said anything about it anywhere, gloating and taunting and mocking and being as toxic as they possibly could.
People are done with that. Theyre not playing AV because its better honor. Theyre playing AV because PREMADERS CAN’T.
The playerbase is done with you. If they get their way theyll never go anywhere youre known to be ever again. It doesnt matter how large the carrot you dangle in front of them for AB/WSG turnins is. Dealing with you people will never be worth it.
If Premaders really just wanted to play AB/WSG, they wouldnt be dodgelocking eachother for hours at a time desperately begging for a group of clueless solo queuers to join in. Youd just be playing AB/WSG.
But here we are.
