I also have a lot of fond memories of Crossroads on an RP-PvP server I briefly leveled on (Scarlet Crusade, I think?). Myself and friendos leveled paladins together in Vanilla and the moment we reached the level that our bubble lasted long enough to Bubblehearth (48 or 52, I think?), we booked it to Crossroads, raised a little hell, then when reinforcements came and kicked our butts, we all rezzed, bubbled, and hearthed in front of them at the same time.
The Horde got a good chuckle out of it and it became a bit of a tradition for a little while.
My, oh my. I am disappointed in myself. I decided to head back to Stormwind City for a bit and came across a lone Vulpera from WrA with WM turned on. I observed from a distance and I didn’t even feel motivated to engage the target because, well, it was just sitting there, fishing. When it finally noticed me, it waved and I broke down and showed mercy. What has happened to me? Has Tyr forsaken me?
This reminds me of the time I kept getting into a fight over and over with the same Alliance hunter at 3am in the morning over a quest, the fight was close but I kept winning over and over again but the hunter wouldn’t quit and finally after the 3rd and final fight he beat me.
Got on his Horde lvl 1 alt to gloat about it too.
But I was just like " We’ll atleast I made someone’s day"
Was his name Seth or something like that by any chance? lol
Havent seen him in awhile, but there was a worgen hunter named Seth or something like that, that was exactly like that back in DF. Guy would chase me to the ends of the earth if he saw me somewhere.
