So blizzard gets rid of all these employees to put time into faster and better game development, yet we have gotten the most lazy and broad changes to pvp imaginable. Starting out the season with just straight up 50% nerf on ALL azerite traits without even looking at how it would effect some classes. Then they finally buff some classes but buff classes that arguably didn’t need it. Then they just nerf ALL mana but fail to realize druid drinking is in the game so it doesnt matter for them, leaving basically every other healer crap and not fun to play cause you cant use abilities or you go oom insta.
I think the question is, why do we just get damage tuning? We pay 15$ a month for damage and healing buffs? In 6 months of playing BFA we have gotten very small changes to honor talents. That’s all. Like all they do is either up your damage or reduce your damage, Where is the thinking in that?
There used to be comp diversity in the game, rot comps, cc comps, melee cleaves, wizards. Now its just 2 types of comps. Damp wizards and Damp melee cleaves.
The game has become so stale with every team just training one target and waiting for damp. Quit giving every class SO MUCH FREAKING SELF HEALING. Healers should heal. Hybrids should have much less healing but better support options than dps. DPS ONLY CLASSES SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO 80K DEATHSTRIKES. Basically I just want every class and spec to be looked at individually and examined and given the changes it actually needs.
Lets take affliction locks as an example. What does it need to be viable? spread damage that actually does something. Port baseline so you can take coil. Thats all they have to do and then its viable.
Nerf instant healing as well, casted heals should be big heals and insta healing should be less. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP A TEAM ALIVE WITH INSTA HEALING ALONE. Juking, and kicking, and positioning should be a big part of what separates a good from bad healer.
I just feel like arena is going so downhill its scary, I love the game and I have always liked arena I just want it to feel fun, fast paced, and diverse again.
