Hi all!
Just started pvping tonight on my WW. Just curious if it might just be me but I feel insanely squishy. I only have honor gear right now, and am working on grinding conq but I feel a bit behind.
My damage is usually pretty high on the scoreboard so I feel like I have my rotation figured out, but surviving is rough.
I was in a bg and a mage absolutely nuked me in one stun thru defensives. I popped everything I could, but my health melted faster than a snowman in a sauna.
I’ve always been decent at ww, so this is a little surprising. Is gear making this much of a difference, are ww that squishy, or am I just bad since I’ve been gone too long?

I’d like to point out that Wintergrasp and Ashran have seasonal quests that reward 250 conquest if I remember right.
First epic BG win is roughly 110 conquest too which resets daily.

Crate farms. It’s too bad blizz won’t make honor gear BiS for unrated, which would make catch up a bit easier if you play well (objectives).

I don’t mind crate farming and I hope it doesn’t get nerfed, but they really should have some sort of catch up mechanic for people who start late in the season or alts. That or make it so honor gear isn’t so bad compared to conquest. For awhile now they have been obsessed with large item level jumps between everything and it sucks.

I got one shot thru defensives with full honor gear by a fully decked out frost mage and was like Jesus Christ I am behind lol
Frost mages can one shot almost anyone through defenses will full stacks if you let them free cast. Fortunately WW is one class that can stop them from ever free casting, so you definitely need to know play your class right to shut them down.
if you are alliance, just get into the one of the many crate farms: it’s basically free no contest conquest.
if you are horde, you’ll just get swarmed and die over and over lol.

I have heard Horde form groups for TWW crates but I can’t confirm, no gems or plans but still fast currencies
I heard that TWW crates weren’t giving conquest anymore. Be that as it may, nothing’s stopping Horde from crate farming in the current expansion.

no. the people who have been capping their conqest every week and having pieces made put in the time necessary to do so and you dont get to cut in line.
something about being completely out numbered faction wide kind of prevents that.
but you don’t care, you are alliance so you love the status quo.
People who have been capping every week didn’t face a massive gear disadvantage while needing to farm 5500+ conquest. You don’t make any sense

It does not. Go into LFG, join a crate farm raid…and you’re good to go.
So you’re saying people who have lives and families aren’t allowed to play the content they want to at the level they’d like because they don’t have hours upon hours to invest in a game?

No, I’m not upset with others. Not sure why you’d think that. It’s just not as fun to play into people with much more gear and tier.
I still do well, and hold my own perfectly fine. I just realize I need to catch up. I’m willing to do that, hence why I’m asking what’s up.
Others in the thread told me how to accomplish that so I don’t really have an issue. Only caveat is by the time I catch up, season might be close to over lol
