PVP Ban is dumb. A warning would be enough

They’re banning the ones who didn’t participate in the game at all. Murdering the enemy faction is still participating.

An old Blizzard employee made a video where he talked about how after a ban wave they would gather together with snacks and read all the wrongfully banned tickets and just laugh at people.

No one working at Blizzard actually cares about their customers. They just care about you paying more subscriptions.

Idk why they are still in business tbh.

People will ticket the ban regardless of whether it was wrongful or not. I have to imagine they were laughing at the ones that were caught red handed and were still submitting tickets. The amount of times I petitioned blizzard to get my OG account back after it ate a perma was outrageous, even though I 100% deserved the perma ban. Even had friends open tickets on my behalf offering various body parts of theirs to unban me.

We do that currently on the Customer Support forums when the blue SFA’s come and say what actually happened.

Funny that those same people were the ones closing forum posts about wrongful bans.

Then eventually those bans getting overturned.

Customer support is a joke and so is blizzard.

Lol yeah so when you’re in a crowd of people and someone says “**** all of you” you’d be like “well he didn’t say **** me specifically so I think he’s a good guy”.

Because those posts are spam, get off topic or otherwise out of hand. Or someone necro’s them. There are many reasons.

Likely the 3-day or 7-day suspension has lapsed by that point.

Also SFA Blues will say if it seems that Blizzard was in the wrong for a ban. It’s once and a blue moon though.

… I have no idea what this has to do with my post, but I’d probably let it go and just assume the person was having a bad day, or had a mental illness of some kind.

Both were account closures for hacking and exploits numerous forum threads and roughly 4-5 tickets with multiple automated template responses that completely disregard anything actually said on the ticket.

The only way to actually overcome the the closure was pure persistence to the point they were saying they’d not respond to tickets and further tickets could lead to battle.net closure.

I told them to continue putting tickets in because if there gonna close your wow account and your innocent may as well close the entire battle.net account as well and never play there game again.

This is just my experience with 2 of my friends i can only imagine how many other 1000’s of people are out there who just gave up.

come to think of it i actually had a 3rd friend who had one of his alt accounts banned for no reason whatsoever he put 1 ticket in they gave a templated response about policies being upheld and he gave up.

I know for fact this guy also was innocent but just didn’t have the patience to go through rubbish customer support fighting them.

That’s hearsay based off of what you’re saying they said, without providing a clip or anything to back it up, so naturally I’m less inclined to believe you.

The last person that wanted me to take their word on something was linking a youtube short where he was claiming the auto report system got the person banned, and when I asked for the full clip, he said go look it up. When I did look it up, it explicitly showed what I expected it to show, which was the person getting disconnected and being muted, not banned.

Sorry if you consider wanting proof of something before believing it being dumb.

It’s okay bro sit on the forums all day telling everyone who’s experienced rubbish customer support that there wrong about everything.

If this is directed at me, I’m not denying their customer support is rubbish, and it’s only gotten worse. I just don’t think there’d be a reason for them to be deliberately malicious about it.

I literally got threatened on the forums by customer support because they don’t like when i make forum posts calling out bad customer support and wrongful bans while listing ticket id’s.

I 100% believe they would be malicious about it and more specifically towards certain individuals for w/e reason.

That’s why. The threads will be condensed into one or there will be deleted with the most active one staying.

It’s called spam.

They aren’t automated. Blizzard will always use templated when dealing with account actions as per policy.

Seeing as you make a post about bringing back GDKP’s every week I’m not surprised they were banned because they were probably doing GDKP’s and receiving or paying for RMT gold.

At the end of the day player behavior is a direct result of game design. You can’t incentivize losing. At that point it becomes completely logical to afk, and the meta only existed because of the team’s “experiment”.

Afking is wrong solely because it harms your teams effort to win. However with that change they did, the teams effort became to lose. Plenty of regular players afked because why not? They were only following blizzards design.

Alliance have largely given up trying to win anyway since blizzard refuses to balance shamans. So why not just lose over and over for the 2 marks? Alliance organically made this meta the second blizzard put in the change. How they can turn around and ban people for this is ridiculous. I suppose we are just supposed to die slowly and be target dummies for the masses of shaman and orcs players.

No it was customer support saying your claims are baseless and have been debunked countless times and you keep harassing them. Even though you hide your profile we can still dig through the CS section and look at your posts (the ones that weren’t deleted for profanity and harassment).

Probably because I’m 95% sure that it’s against forum ToS to talk about bans on the forums. I don’t think that’s a rule they normally enforce, but yeah.

Possible, just seems weird and like there’s probably more to the story.

No because it’s in the ToS which you agreed to. Also ban/suspension severity depends on past account actions unless the action in question was significantly severe.

Majority of players just deathballed and killed players and didn’t AFK at the spawn.

No actually they just locked / would hide the threads because they don’t want to deal with the issue.

A person gets unjustly banned can’t get a valid response via the ticket system spending days or weeks on tickets they go to forums and get even worst treatment its a joke.

They don’t read the tickets they copy paste responses but that’s not customer support and it does not help to resolve errors with wrongful bans.

Just because you don’t like gdkp’s don’t mean everyone is guilty of them no matter how much you tell yourself that.

No actually it was customer support making a direct threat to me about my account.

Also most of the threads weren’t even made on these toons my profile is hidden to stop trolls like you and others stalking every thread i post in and dribbling.
