IF that happened, it has nothing to do with PVP from Blizzard’s end, it is simply an automated ban due to high volumes or reports, which Blizz needs to look into (which can be a different story)
Wrong. Knowingly breaking the tos doesn’t suddenly become ok because it’s the best way to farm something.

I’m inclined to agree. I feel like the people who got banned full on AFKed the entire time instead of murder balling and such.

Yea, a human speed running through tickets, and one that may or may nor even be in the US.
If we knew the average time spent on each ban it’d probably be unacceptable. They’ve already been caught sending out copy pasted scripts and closing tickets.
Blizzard CS is abysmal so for the devs to put out bans for their mistake it’s truly ridiculous.
Actually if you have enough mute offenses in a short period of time it will graduate to a 24hr suspension. Like for example if you have been reported for an inappropriate name, and then you change to the same thing but slightly different and get reported again, you’ll get instantly booted. Something I would never do ofc.
Probably got banned for how they said it, If they where in the right then blizz would revert the autoban sounds like there is more to the story then you where told/or are telling us.

“requiring a warning” There have been multiple warnings posted its also common knowledge and it is part of the ToS that you agree to when you play.

Well when you get banned in SoD you get banned in all versions.
Lol streamers dont AFK in bgs tho!!! They would loose viewers.
So you stayed in stealth 99% of the BG killed maybe 1 or 2 players that you stun locked when they where alone. Sounds like a justifed ban.

Probably what ended up being the case for most of these bans. I have multiple buddies who were grinding BGs all day for the last several days and they saw no bans. If anyone was going to get caught in an auto ban wave, it would’ve been them. However, they actually were participating in the BGs, even if the other people in their teams were throwing stuff. I feel like most of the bans dished out for this were more on the AFK part and not on the throwing part. Joining a bg and sitting at the start 100% falls under the AFK/non-participating category, and is against their rules.

They review the log data they have for the account action. If you were reported for Profanity it’s pretty clear when you drop F-Bombs in the reported chat that will result in a suspension.
They will always use templated responses when it comes to account actions.
The only time you will not get a templated response is when a response doesn’t fit a template.

I have yet to ever see this happen, and I was a big troll on mega servers.
That I could see, because technically they’re getting you on a name violation, even though there isn’t one. I had the name Die and Fox with no ascii though, so there’s apparently a cut off as to what can be flagged for name change and what can’t be. My friend, who happened to be standing beside me while i was purging the mind control off the ony reset mob ate a name change despite his name being like omnipresent or something, and him not being the one to grief.
Every single player that queued solo partook in this issue why are they only banning a few? if they are going to ban they really need to ban anyone that queue’d solo. and even some that queued in groups. The issue is still going on.
They are banning the people who had zero damage done, and/or got flagged as AFK for sitting at the very start of the bgs.
Yeah, my guess is they are going after the premades who just never left spawn.
I don’t know why you’d premade to do that though. I assumed people were just looking to effectively murder ball in premades. People apparently overgreeding the lose meta.
Pretty sure they khow how many action per minute you do in the BG and knows other metrics to know if you do stuff or not and ban people under a certain threshold.
What happens if you have a disability and are just naturally slower?
What’s really bad is that pretty much every single alliance player threw these BGs and they continue to this day but they’re only banning a very small amount, and not the people who actively caused this to be an issue in the first place.
