PvP and Dual spec

Everytime I see someone saying they don’t want dual spec I’m almost certain they are purely a pve player. Pvpers need dual spec due to the constant need to respec. I’m not sure anyone who pvps seriously would decline dual spec.

But I thought dual spec would fix the tank/healer shortage? So why would PvE players be against it?

People say that but I don’t see how that can be true. I’m a feral druid. I constantly see bad ferals saying “cat dps LF heroic” when they could easily tank it as feral is a very versatile spec. Same thing with warriors while lvling up. “Warrior dps lf grp” when they could get a grp insta if they just tanked.

You are telling me that it is too much to ask from you to invest 30 minutes to farm 100gold a week to respec for PvP?
Also, unless you are a Tank or go raiding, PvP spec will do just fine in most PvE content.

Yeah buddy it is. My guild spends a lot of time raiding, and I spend whats left pvping.

Not sure if you’ve seen the incorrect honor values being rewarded but 30 minutes farming gold means you’re not living in bgs.

So every time I want to go do an instance I can only do it once a week?

You can do any instance, regular or heroic in PvP resto spec easily.
If you PvP in feral spec as a druid, you are doing something wrong in the first place.
Also, you can just make plans. let’s say, PvP on the weekend and PvE during the week. just stay the spec you chose for a little while and you won’t have that problem.
Choices still have meaning in TBC. I know they don’t in retail, and that’s a big sad and one reason why I stopped playing retail pretty much after Cata came out.

This shows how stupid your opinions are since you don’t even know a feral druid is currently on the #1 and highest arena team in the world.

Nobody does this.

You do some arenas, then heroics, then raids next day, then arenas after raids, then some BG grinding during the week, then some heroics for dailies.

This requires a crazy amount of respecs to do and is the reason why dual spec’s would be an amazing addition for TBC.

That’s your problem if you cannot plan your activities properly, not mine.
It only becomes my problem if you whine for features that would destroy the game.
If you don’t like TBC, then don’t play it. We don’t want your ilk here!

Hearty chuckle.

Maybe it would have been best if blizzard never had introduced PvP into a game primarily developed as a PvE game.
Let’s demand that change than: Remove PvP from the game! It would make the game better for most players! /s

It’s ironic that you prove my point in the original post. You’re just a pve player with a narrow view that can’t understand a pvper’s perspective. I was also all for #nochanges but we are so far past that point now, that QoL changes just make sense.

Flagged as spam.

And you don’t even understand sarcasm…

Amazing that people are against a very popular feature that lots of people liked from Wrath and was one of the reasons PVP massively blew up in Wrath.

But turn around and support HvH BGs, a feature that’s basically merc mode from WoD Lmao

Hi, purely PvE player. Yes, we do want Dual Spec.

I also want them here. No need to be rude.
