8/30 go 1-6 with the last 3 games all being losses mmr last recorded 2796 but it should be lower since that a loss as well
1/22 2914
both the players i was playing with were actively playing and were 2600 cr
i played with them on an alt shaman (also 2600 cr/mmr) and logged over (same day)
we instantly shot up to 2914 despite 2/3 people on the team being currently same day 2600 mmr just because my sitting shaman had that much mmr banked
they claim it would be about 40 a month but (no proof here) it was a LOT more aggressive
like i said, the restokin ret/war sat 3k for 3-4 months then were almost 3400
here’s this season if it means anything
2.5 months apart 0 artificial mmr increase
it’s probably unlikely see see numbers so high again at least until they change something
i think they realized that s2 was a knee jerk reaction to a very specific series of issues season 1 had that are unlikely to be replicated
Because there are so few people playing that they needed to make titles more accessible. As the % based system locked things down way too much when there are so few players.
What matters most tho are the titles YOU personally like, other than that who cares.
I love how you say CR like several times basically making that entire picture useless.
The only way to truly use that picture as evidence to support your claim would have all 3 members of your turbo on the same toons all stop for 1 month then come back and play a game showing all 3 of the reflex data points otherwise it can be considered hidden bias which is the worst thing you could ever do with evidence like this one.
Nowhere did I say shay was correct I know mmr inflates by itself Im just saying Rem is using stupid evidence that can’t ever support his claim. Who knows that the people he was playing were actually different (which 100% is because the healer is a completely different healer) and didn’t have winstreak personal MMR which was in the 3ks. Which 100% would be a 100mmr increase even if both of the other 2 are the same toons.
This season is much better than before. However the balance still feels like hot garbage.
I was able to push 3k mmr on a class I’m not even good at last season learning it while having fun first 300 games ever.
No one can do that unless they are pros like snutz multi classing or a super inflated season. I’m def no pro.
I have no issue with s2 getting people their first glad, however you cannot use xp to sort through the lfg anymore as many people do not belong 2700. Many people spam qued last season and got 4-500 cr above their experience so they now have insane egos even though they are hot garbage.
My advice would be to “respect” players whose actions while interacting with you have demonstrated they earned it - not titles or achievements.
Respect, also called esteem, is a positive feeling or action shown towards someone or something considered important or held in high esteem or regard. It conveys a sense of admiration for good or valuable qualities. It is also the process of honoring someone by exhibiting care, concern, or consideration for their needs or feelings. I might respect someone in my guild, or on my M+ or PvP team, or someone who listened when I needed an ear - someone I have established some sort of relationship with in-game.
IMO a title or achievement is just a symbol unworthy of any of that.
Kind of but not really all is all you need to read about this response. “Mechanically good” is just how good you are with the mechanical aspect, which is key presses and mouse movement. So you obviously need to be mechanically good to do dmg. You need to be knowledgeable about the game to be good in arena. In PVE a mechanically good player does good dmg, in PVP its the same. Both need to be knowledgeable about the fights to do well in their respective areas. Knowledge and mechanics are not the same thing. With the way the game is now, all damage matters in most matchups because there are many games that come down to mana.
