Even if it’s just for a limited time (so that all the paranoid babies stop complaining about “ez mode levelling”).
Having characters permanently held hostage on a server you don’t play is kinda ridiculous

Rerolling in this game? So as a PVPer I have to reroll which takes aprox 40-50 hours. Then another 150+ hours for the basic pvp gear. so essentiallly 400 hours played to get back to where I currently stand just so people can control an AH market and I cant move servers? how does that make sense?
Afraid? I have 3x 70s on a PVP server, I just don’t want my 4th 70 to be stuck on a server I don’t play just because some baby is afraid I’m going to gank them on it without facing the OH SO IMPORTANT PERIL of running to Slave Pens for 10 hours of mage-boosting on a PVP server.
Get over yourself. Having to abandon a character in a video game because of some dumb restriction is just bad game design.

As a PVPer you spent all that time on a Normal realm, and then one day thought, “I wish I was on a PVP server.”
So, like everybody else who has been in that situation, yeah… just reroll bro.
And not because I said so, or I think that’s the way it should be, but simply because that’s how it is. I didn’t make the game, nor the rules…

Reroll baby! That’s what I did when I was in a similar situation during actual TBC.
I’m not here to say, “no,” I’m letting people know that it’s OK to just simply reroll, like so many others have done.
I’m not calling pvp players babies, I’m calling people who are upset that someone from a pve server could transfer to a pvp server, babies. Right now you are fitting that mold

I’m not upset at all. I’m merely not pretending that the game is different somehow than it is.
This isn’t some new arbitrary rule. It’s a very old arbitrary rule (part of what we asked for when we asked to play Classic).

it is to prevent players from leveling easymode and then proceeding to gank levelers who chose to do it the hard way.
Yes! PLEASE open PVE to PVP Xfers. I have a class stuck on a PvE server I have absolutely no desire to relevel but wouldn’t mind messing around with on my home (PvP) Server!
It makes ZERO sense to not allow PvE to PvP in this iteration of the game.
