I’d be fine with that and still, there’s no issue with no restrictions on the PvE to PvP transfer.

Sure, give us faction changes too. So at least those of use who dared use our brains and re-roll Alliance to help faction balance can go back Horde since there’s no disadvantage (queues) anymore.
I take it you’ve never played human before and used perception… Only viable in arena against a very particular comp where you are a human rogue trying to counter sap opponent rogue.
This isn’t about faction changes. This is about PvE to PvP server restrictions being lifted because it’s literally a useless restriction only causing more frustration for players and loss in profit for Blizzard. Faction changes are a horrible idea for way too many reasons, but for so long as server transfers are allowed, they must be unrestricted from where to where one can transfer to. The cooldown is fine, perfect in my opinion. But unrestricted PvE to PvP servers must be allowed, and I’d also add, let people transfer characters inter-account.

Except they were added in LK, which is where we’re heading. They were added at the same time of the lifting of PvE → PvP transfer restrictions. Can’t have one without the other.
I wasn’t aware of them being added in LK, makes sense. The interaccount transfer was added in BC and its still not allowed right now either.
I wouldn’t mind if they opened pve to pvp, found out most my friends I played retail with are on a pvp server, so I leveled a toon to level 63 so far and yea as the op said its mostly dungeon grinding and the only horde that bothered me was a few max level out of all the horde I’ve seen that could of killed me. I would be nice to move my gather toon over there to farm when I’m not grouped with my friends on that server
Agree. I notice it tends to just be the occasional PvP at a meeting stone spot (namely Coilfang Reservoir), and its hardly an inconvenience to say “PvE is eAsY mOdE”. I have max level characters on PvP servers and on PvE servers. I, like you, want to just have my PvE characters moved to my PvP server. And I think if someone doesn’t have a max lvl character on a PvP server, they should still be allowed to transfer there. It’s really no big deal. I’m actually surprised after 154 comments and 25k+ views on this post, as well as all the views, comments and threads created by others about removing the restriction from PvE to PvP transfer, Blizzard Developers have taken absolutely no action. Yet they quietly discounted the transfer fee by a little bit.
To add, maybe in Vanilla, because of the importance world buffs for raids and being ganked on the way to it, yeah I can see why in that specific situation, PvE servers are way easier to raid with. But we’re not playing Vanilla anymore. We’re playing TBC. There are no world buffs. And now with the new classic fresh coming out not having World Buffs allowed for raids, that’s even irrelevant.
Yeah it seems like they’re just gonna let TBC die by doing nothing. Tis a shame really.

I’d hope not but that seems to be the direction it’s going in. And yet WoW TBC is still a great asset for the company. Maybe they’re prioritizing other fires to put out. Who knows. But this thing only takes a minute to change.
Hey @Blizz, since you’re going to be adding a bulk discount for transfers, why not allow PVE to PVP???

I just learned of this today. They debated, and decided to lift this restriction years ago in 2008, look it up. Laughing stock. Blue posts are actually people with clown masks on. That’s the truth. The fact they even take themselves seriously I swear is a joke. They wanna remove NPCs. They wanna remove emotes. My guild finally decides to transfer to a healthier realm, now I learn can’t actually transfer back to a PVP realm if my guild dies out? Are you actually serious? Bro these people have no god forsaken clue how dead this game is. They shot themselves in the foot. It was downhill since the boosts. Disagree or not, games about to die. All those who stood up for this trash have nothing to say the proof is in the pudding.
Maybe now that the retail patch is finished they will actually shift the 2 interns back to TBC to address issues. Not holding my breath tho.
