I am lost. Would you care to clarify what you meant when you said:
Wait, you need help from me? I thought I was too inept to figure out how to do damage despite the age of said game and resources available to learn and improve…I thought you were way smart?
you’re doin’ me a confuse friend.
I think one of the problems is that I,myself am more interested in PvP,more invested and involved in it and am better at PvP than PvE.
Yet I have to rely on running m+ keys over and over in hopes of getting a weapon that is over 420-425 and actually has stats that I want.
I think my highest rating is 1939, which isn’t horrible for pugging and no voice, yet I can run a m8,9,10 and get a 430 weapon.
It’s a lot harder to get 2100+ rating than it is to run a m10.
I was enjoying my time reading this thread until the troll showed up. Ricros pls stop feeding it.
Also yea. I agree that pvper’s should be able to progress and be competitive in pvp by doing pvp. It was almost the other way around at some point (can’t remember what expac) and the QQ was immense.
I think you need a snickers bar.
Nah, not really hungry. Maybe you would like it? Seems like hunger does some really messed up things to you…
I actually do have one of the 415 daggers from mechagon in my bags.
He’s right you know…
Nah not really. I’m not the one who got triggered because of someone telling me that there are different factors which influence the outcome of a fight in PvP and then proceeded to still get angry even after multiple attempts of apologizing.
Classic. Classic wow is when everyone wanted pvp gear.
Laughing means angry! NPC af…
WoD really did nail down the pvp system. It’s a shame they had to wreck it with Legion. I get that they love their RNG and /played metrics but I think pvp participation would improve if they swallowed their pride and went back to what works for players instead of their shareholders.
Also, in WoD a lot of raiders started their gearing in Ashran (but concluded it in raids). I remember forgetting to change my gear (including PvP trinkets) after a BG and didn’t notice until the boss fight, I did more healing than the other 2 healers combined.
You do seem a little angry, otherwise you wouldn’t be constantly replying to me in an attempt to make it look like you are not the issue.
People seem more and more invested in “winning” the internet lately, no matter how meaningless. But I do think a lot of PvE players are probably happy with the status quo.
There won’t be a PvP vendor because there’d have to be a PvE vendor equivalent, and for whatever reason Blizzard doesn’t want to do that.
If/When they change their minds, we’ll see vendors again.
The reason is vendors allow players to save time when gearing and offer a definitive end to gearing. They want us in the game more, and RNG drops insure that we’re stuck at the trough.
They could reintroduce a stat like resilience so that PvP gearing does not interfere with PvE gearing.
Not always. I remember the number of badges being limited per week in… MoP, I believe. And even back in WoD there were complaints about the gearing system (“Why does it take so long to get honor?” “Why do I have to get useless honor gear before I get all my conquest set?” “Why do I have to grind gear for this new season AGAIN!?”)
Right now, Blizzard is taking a line from Ricky Nelson, and pleasing themselves.
They could give us the treadmill, we’d be happier than feeling forced to PvE.
