I’ve been camping the spawn of this rare in Icecrown for the past couple of days and have yet to see him spawn. All the old wowhead articles and posts Im reading about online say that he’s large enough to be targeted across the zone but have yet to see him pop. Was this changed or have I just been super unlucky? I also have spent over 7 hours today waiting, even across server restart, and have yet to see anything. Maybe all the previous info I have is wrong but I cant seem to find anything more current than stuff from OG wrath.
Have seen him/it twice ever, killed it once. Overall, the rare spawns can be real hard to cap, especially when bots set up in their spawn areas. I would just say super unlucky after spending weeks trying to cap King Krush as a pet and get a TLPD. Do you have any of the addons like Silver Dragon or Rare finder? Shows spawn points and track of pathing for more of an advantage.
He can be targetted as far as Dalaran and thats your problem. Addons like RestedXP or Unitscan WILL notify people if he’s in targetting range while addons like Silver Dragon require his nameplate to be visible.
You have to be there and waiting as soon as he spawns, because about half the people in Icecrown are gunna get notified when he pops up.
