For the love of god. Horde just can’t win BGs. It’s impossible when you have half of your team as bots when the alliance have real people with 6k GS. I hate you so much Blizzard. So much.

- The game has no way of distinguishing real players from bots.
A better suggestion some of us have already been pushing for is separate BG queues depending on GS. This means scrubs/bots would easily be dumped into their own queue away from the rest of us.
Barely anybody has asked for GS-based BGs. Stop kidding yourself, nobody thinks that’s a better suggestion.
There are tons of ways to distinguish real players from bots. Either you haven’t played many BGs with bots, or you’re an idiot. Have you not reported a bot and then gotten a message from Blizzard saying “we’ve taken action against an account you reported…”? Clearly there are tons of ways Blizzard can detect bots. All you have to do is have a functioning brain that allows you to see 13 players following the same path, doing the same spells, having the same names, having green gear with purple pvp items that aren’t gemmed or enchanted, etc. etc. etc.

Trust me… it is a huge problem on both sides, not just horde.
They are out of control on either faction, just deopends ont he time of the night I have noticed.
I’ve been playing since 2008 and only PvP, nothing else. I have never seen botting this bad in BGs, including back in the day when bots and literal corpses would spell out gold selling websites in the main cities.
Just had a BG where more than half of my team were bots. All DKs or Paladins named something like “hasdfl” of the guild “adkslkjf” or whatever. No gems, no enchants, just running straight up to people and auto-attacking. Report them and nothing happens. I’m not sure what’s happened but the botting has exploded over the last few weeks. It’s always been bad, but this is a whole other level now.

Not Blizzard excusing but reporting has never been an immediate effect type thing. You make a report, it flags the player for review by a GM and if they see a violation they take action.
The one major exception to this is bots which they claim to only mainly ban in waves so that (paraphrase of their approaches) they don’t give them time to adjust constantly to what is being flagged and detected.
Now I don’t know squat about botting, programing, or Blizzard bts, and I only occasionally do bgs so how much of this is accurate or effective I have no idea.
The Bots are made from Blizz, Itʻs to help fill so the ques don’t take long. They Model the gameplay after actual Blizz employee game skills. lol
As for no way to tell. um… Join a BG. My last one had 15. all with random letter names, all pallys, and all attacking trees and hills with demos. They also ride in a line and all do the same thing. So if Blizz cant identify them after I report the same bots for a week.
They are for sure made by blizz. lol

you want the bots gone, but then will complain when the queues never pop
I said the exact same thing.
Plot twist: Blizzard added them on purpose so queues would pop.
I am really starting to wonder if that is really the case.
Last BG I did, we had 5 real players I think 
Im alliance and i try to report as many as the horde bots as i can… its absolutely ridiculous how bad it is

Same, but good God, in the big ones, you spend the entire game reporting
what good does reporting do then, will they ban their own bots?
I’ve seen a few disappear after being reported, but I don’t know how long it took.
In IoC and Av you can spend theentire game just tower sitting / defending glavies, and reporting bots lol.
reporting is work for blizzard. We pay them for that. Yesterday I tried to win bg all day and I had more bots than players in my team. Today, Arati and I have already played 4 bg and everyone has 7-8 bots. The alliance did not have a single bot. It got terrible!!! Sometimes you have to spend half a day to win one random bg. I hate blizzard!!! They destroyed the game and destroy the desire to play. I hope blizzard is reading this.

Made a quick video about this just now, from a recent Isle of Conquest this morning. Insane how bad it is…
Its what happens when gm’s aren’t there to regulate and they rely on quarterly sql analysis and bans off that.
Issue there is 3/4 months later…the damage has been done. those bots worked their gold angles for months. Made back cost of the bot account and profit over the top of it.
Blizzard says we banned X accounts! and the bot owners are going yeah…but I still made profit of it. and make some more new accounts.
