Well it’s a fact, Pocopoc is the little bot that cried treasure…
Right now, there is far more undiscovered than discovered, but I can see eventually I won’t be asking the bot to look…

Well that might be fair, but the good thing is you get a ton of points to upgrade. I did quite a few upgrades in just a day because the cooldown timers are like 5 seconds or something, besides the really big ones. So, shoot for the really big cooldowns/upgrades and then get the 5 second ones unless you see something that you really like.
Someone, in another thread, said he also solves the puzzles for you (in exchange for something.) Maybe that requires an upgrade.

I prefer to think of it as Pocopop the Pirate.
Eventually he gets to be a combat follower, not quite a pet though.
yeah it’ll do it for the cost of energy…i used it on that annoying puzzle that i can’t figure out for the life of me

You can’t open puzzle chests without him. You have to spend his power to gain access to the puzzle. He will point to things sometimes also. He’ll start glowing and say follow me in your chat box.I have not found anything he is pointing at though because he seems to find things I can’t figure out how to get to.

He lets you open puzzle chests. He lets you get buffs from the Jiro.
He becomes a very potent fighter once you start unlocking the 4th row of Cypher stuff.
Pocopoc keeps the ball rolling.

I chose the broker gear for Pogopoc that helps him discover new stuff in hopes that he will lead me to discover a new piggeh mount…

Bumped the game to 1.5 star for me because of it.
Make sure you tell him to find treasures.
Let me tell you good people a little trick for using Pocopoc, that helped me somewhat.
When you ask Poco to be on alert status for items, it pops up a little buff icon, for an hour.
To keep it simple, when I buff up, food, flasks etc, I also ask Pocopoc… the. I’m good for an hour.

There’s a helm you get from the campaign quests that lets you see more caches while you have it equipped and pocopoc out.
Pocopoc also has a ton of upgrades on the cypher console that make him a formidable companion… eventually.
Based on my experience so far, Pocopoc’s main, overriding purpose is to create and stir guild drama over the pronunciation of his/her/their name.
Is it:
- POC-o-poc
- poc-O-poc
- poc-o-POC
- po-CO-poc
- PO-co-poc
- po-co-POC
But nobody knows the correct answer! Hence the endless debates and resulting guild drama.
But this is a great victory for Blizzard, as they can reap the endless increases in their metrics of “player engagement” with Pocopoc and also “time played” as the debates rage into the wee hours of the morning.
