I’m not on team Dark Lady but I’d take her side over Genn in a fight.
So...you're on team genocide?
Because this irrational hate for Genn basically amounts to
"OMG, he dared to stand up to undead waifu after she went on a murder spree through his kingdom (and used a wmd on civilians), murdered his son, and she did a side quest to try and tank the war against the legion so she could get unlimited valkyr. BAD DOGGIE FOR HAVING A BACK BONE!"
OR
Short version: anyone who stands up to the whorde is a baaaaaaad person.
/facepalm
Silly human!
Only Orcs & Friends are allowed to stand up for themselves in the World of Hordecraft.
I hope it turns out all this exacerbated / amplified emotions and aggression are the direct result of Azerite: like a catalyst as explained in before the storm.
So essentially the blue Tesseract from Avengers 1?
I'm Lawful Good, not Lawful Stupid.
Ive not seen that movie, but the concept of Azerite modifying emotions or inner-desires was explored in Before the storm if im remembering correctly. It seems plausible that, as more seeps out and folks become exposed to the
radiation, any effects are magnified.
Also, your last line is genius and very logical, regarding the Vulpera.
EDIT: The attack on Teldrassil is reminiscent of the firebombing of Dresden during WWII. With the exception that we were already in a declared war with Germany at the time.
Vonnegut talks about this event in his book [I] Slaughterhouse 5
One of my favorite books.

So, once again, the whorde can blame yet another act of mass murder on
"It wasn't us who committed genocide on (insert race # lost track of here)...it was the (insert substance, racial leader, macguffin here) that made us do it! We don't have to ever take responsibility for our choices, just like a drunk driver!"
That sound you just heard was plausibility stretching beyond its breaking point, combined with a facepalm so hard the whoosh broke the sound barrier.
I mean, The hordes had "purge squads" from the start. i don't understand why everyone's so pissed off about the alliance doing the same. Blizzards writing is pretty bad though.
