I created a free trial account yesterday and after playing for a few hours I signed up for the monthly subscription. It charged me right away, but it’s been about 12 hours or so since I bought the subscription and when I try to do things with my friends it still says things like you can’t trade with free trial accounts, etc. I can’t chat in the general chat either. How/when does this update?
Typically any in-game restrictions should drop off within the first 24 hours. You should be able to level up beyond level 20 immediately though.
Be sure to log all the way out of the game and the launcher to ensure that the game has a chance to update.
