Well, not really punny, but one of the best names I have seen was a priest that used to post in the priest forums named Judiscpriest.

didnt have a specific name but i remember a twink guild back in vanilla
it was all toons named after dinnerwear
i got owned by saladfork and soupspoon a few times
and that blasted spork was a good healer
i wanted to start a dead president guild with all presidents names like abe lincon, truman (point break kinda stuff)
but i still remember the tablewear guild they were feirce

almost every void elf or demon hunter has some sort of a pun name “a void” this or some variant of chillidan or grillidan

I made a Huojin Pandaren once named: “Yocrazyuncle”…alternatively my Worgen Druid was named: “Amutateddog”.
Same! The only one I ever came up with was Cadbunny, my Gnome. And that’s not really that great. 
I have (another) Druid named Bearlycool… which I think probably signifies that I am not, in fact, at all cool.

I have a female blood elf pally named totsmcgee.
Oh I also have a dk named Chocula, with the count title of course.
Big same. I’ve also had a number of character names that I thought were cool, but all got really bad nicknames. For example - a dwarf I named Baergur who everyone just called Burger. Made me so sad.
