People like me eh. The world has a grand history full of people that like to use that generalization.
I couldn’t care less if they walk it back a bit later rather than sooner or vice versa. I’m sure they will. I’m also sure that they will shove the same thing down your throat again and again, because it’s reflective of the direction they want the game to go in.

Keep looking for that about face that is never coming.

I’m making a generalization because you used an incredible generic remark. If you wanted to be treated as unique, have a unique thought.

In fact, you’re being exactly what I would expect. Now that you’ve been embarrassed and called out, you’re trying to walk away with an inflated sense of victory. We’re perfectly aware of what Blizzard wants to do. That’s why we’re telling them they’re wrong for doing it. It’s really that simple buddy.

Keep looking for that moral highground you’re trying to take. You’re not going to find it digging yourself into a hole.

The ripcord doesn’t exist.

It always exists . It’s just a matter of when it gets pulled .

Legion Legendaries got a vendor (rip cord )

Essences to help with azerite gear (ripcord) Essence vendor (ripcord) Corrupted gear to replace TF and finally a vendor for that (ripcord)

#ripcord9.1

No, it will have to be added in a future patch to be pulled.

#pulltheripcord, bruh

Blizz is doing what they always do. They are going head first into the shallow end like they always do with these systems in hopes that they finally got one right. But with the changes they have been doing in the beta and with the delay . They have already been slowly pulling the ripcord.

They aren’t going to remove the systems.

Have you considered that throwing a catchup system or vendor into the game at the end of an expansion/patch cycle is something they intend to do all along, and isn’t decided on the fly? There are pretty obvious reasons why they wouldn’t want to announce something like that ahead of time and as people(yourself and others) have pointed out they do that kind of thing all the time.

Could you help fill me in here? Because losing a tonne of subscribers who will just wait around until Blizzard get the memo to listen to the overwhelming player base so they can come back to the game

Which is exactly what happened in BFA.

If Blizzard didn’t charge a monthly subscription fee I’d understand, but they do, so I don’t.

To be honest most of us here would prefer they didn’t put these systems in .

Just make classes/specs fun to play . If they want to add a special talent tow of active abilities that change every expansion fine . As for the other systems , well those are ways to give us back passives each expansion with other names.

Just give us back the passives in our spell books . Stop wasting time on making the systems the content because that is what it has become and focus on more real content .

Give us more quest lines to follow , more dungeons , more raids even more battle grounds .

Don’t give people content where they feel like they have to play to keep up , which is what these systems do and it is not just the top end it trickles down , give them content that makes them want to play .

I’m not saying what I think they should do here, but I think that they’re going to try the current iteration of these systems in retail. If it does not go well, I hope that they will change it quickly. If things are actually balanced, I’ll be both surprised and amazed.

I’m not going anywhere sweetums. I have 2.5x the posts you have in this thread.
And I continue to enjoy ever second I spend here.

Weird flex but okay…

That’s fine. Free bumps and people with more then half a brain get a show? Sounds like a win for people who support the ripcord being pulled.

38 more posts to 10000, can we do it!?

I think we can do it. hehe

Best thing about BFA borrowed power was the essences. They were fun, and you could pick whatever ones you wanted for the content you were about to do.

New class powers should function the same way.

Minor essences added a boost to my gameplay also in a variety of ways. I could swap them out any time I wanted.

Conduits should act the same way.

I want my choice to be meaningful. Covenant choice should be mostly permanent with a fun/interesting way to change if I really want to that gets more difficult every time I decide to change.
