Yeah man being locked into your end talent is definitely something people will love lol.
It’s as if you haven’t played bfa which is still an unbalanced mess.
Then they yell at us for not liking “sTrOnG fEmAlE cHaRaCtErS”. How about a strong Black character? They did my boy Finn so dirty. I was more excited for John Boyega(Attack the Block is an underrated, awesome movie) being in these movies more than anything else and they didn’t develop his character at all. Plus Rose just kind of existed and was written so poorly too that they just yeeted her out of the third movie. It was so obvious Disney never had a plan and decided Star Wars was a license to print money.
Thank the lords of RNG Jon Favreau was hired for The Mandalorian and tapped Dave Filoni to give us something that actually feels like Star Wars. I doubt Disney thought the show was even going to garner the accolades it has received so far. The higher ups at Disney probably didn’t even have it on their radar providing a constant stream of “notes” telling them to add a bunch of crap like the movies. I’m so excited for Season 2 and getting a live action Ahsoka.

I plan on spamming the AWC chat today with it and tweeting my questions to the casters what they think of the movement. Not that I think any of the developers care/watch WoW PvP with the state it’s in…
Dude, I have played this game since 2005, I have had my Warlock class neutered and then brought back to life numerous times, I have seen Priests go on a whirlwind from day one to present, I have had my Rogue specs removed or gutted or altered completely.
So yeah, I am “ok” with it because it’s just more of the same. Is it right? nah, but I didn’t agree with the GCD, for example, but something had to be done after that mess that LEgion gave us for something called pvp. Now they are making some changes. It took a while, but I expected that.
Finn for the first half of TFA and Kylo purely because holy crap Adam Driver is a good actor are the only redeeming parts of that trilogy. Even Mark Hamil’s amazing acting job is sullied by the script he had to work with. Also.

No, you’re never gonna get it
Never ever gonna get it (no, not this time)
No, you’re never gonna get it (ripcord)
Never ever gonna get it…
Ok speaking from some what of a casual players perspective ( casual as in not a high end content player) .
I don’t understand how people that are anti pull the rip cord think everything is going to be ok . I have yet to see any of these borrowed systems Blizz has been giving us since Legion launch not have glaring issues for not just the top end but for everyone that does any content outside of pet battles , questing (normal and wq) mat gathering, the ah game and rping in the Moon Guard Goldshire inn.
Do people honestly think hey 3rd time is a charm so they’ll get it right ?
I’m not that confident in Blizz’s ability to do so and would rather have the issues fixed before the damage is done . I want to keep playing ,I don’t want another expansion like BfA where I spent more time with you people (nothing personal a lot of you are ok) then I think I did in game . Heck I was still playing in WoD at this point .
I want an expansion that holds my desire to keep playing and having fun . RIght now I’ll have to see what happens once I hit max level and the systems kick in .
Right now I’m not very optimistic .

I know I’ve posted this like 6 times now, but everytime I do it puts the issue back to the front of the line. So in a way my constant bumping is helping the ripcord to be pulled.
Thank you for your service in the name of #PullTheRipcord.
That’s a great post, It’s troubling I agree.
#PullTheRipcord can be our answer.
I’m so tired of all those people thinking they speak for all casuals and thinking it won’t affect us . Everything these systems do affects all levels of play .
#pulltheripcord
beyblade, let em rip.
As someone who straddles the line of casual more often then not nowadays I totally agree. I said it before that Legion had me hooked because most of the systems were fresh. Even though being spec locked early on sucked due to legendary items and AP I just wanted to tank M+ and it didn’t affect me.
I still hated the system because it cost me 2 of my best friends who quit as they were spec locked as DPS(one was a Paladin that wanted to tank on occasion who’s first 3 legendary drops were the worst possible ones. He quit the night he got his 3rd legendary) and the other a Hunter who enjoyed playing all 3 specs for different content(he lasted one patch longer but eventually got bored not being able to be as competitive playing SV or MM if he felt like it).
I had lots of fun pushing high keys in Legion. At the start of BFA I tried to get into M+ again but the step back to crappy azerite made my class feel hollow. I quit after the first raid and came back on the release of essences. Grinded back up to be competitive but the dmg was done and I just didn’t care about any progression.
Quit again, returned for Corruptions because of how broken it looked and wanted to see it for myself. Got T3 EV on the first day, it was nerfed a week later and I knew there was no point in playing if I wasn’t playing M+ or raiding with friends because of how broken the systems were and the crazy changes they would make over the next few months.
Now I’ve been playing these last two months so I could solo 5 mask visions for the achievement/gear which lets me farm Mythic Legion Bosses that don’t have mechanics that gimp a solo player for transmog(my true passion!). Once prepatch hits that farming is going to be screwed thanks to the squish.
I’m lucky enough to know a few people in game with connections to Blizzard and scored a beta key off one. It basically solidified my decision to not pre-order and expect to be waiting till January if I come back to play the game. It’s sad cause I do enjoy WoWs gameplay but both Legion and BFA have done enough dmg to my friends list and enjoyment of the overall game I keep asking myself why do I keep playing?
#pulltheripcord
This is again the point.
There is a strong possibility we’ll get all of the abilities eventually anyway.
We’ve done this before where we’re grumpy for a while and the the game becomes accessible and fun.
So…why keep repeating the process? Start with fun.
Btw ‘fun’ in this context means flexible class powers, not full switch of covenant at will.
Bingo.
I’m an RP/Casual and I plan on going the “loyalist” route. I don’t need the restrictions to do so. I also don’t get anything special for doing so with the restrictions in place or removed.
This is why I support #pulltheripcord
My gameplay isn’t effected AT ALL if the system was flexible to swap. I gain NOTHING for the system being restricted for other people.
The restrictions end up turning people away from the game once people find out about them.

Is a whale a fish because it swims?
You can play a class without a covenant
but not a covenant without a class
While the concept of covenant could look like a class, the reality of things is way different.
The class is the vehicle for players.
The covenants would be the color of the tires.
One could understand that there is a cost to change vehicle, but you can have spare tires or just spray paint to change the color of your tires.
#pulltheripcord
Yeah what this guy said!
Let me change my tires!
I think a heavy cost to change COVENANTS is good. Covenant ABILITIES have no reason to be locked though. The RP/aesthetic impact is enough for the choice to feel important to most players.
