Pull the Crestcord

Then play your alt, earn your gear, and progress your alt. You do not get to play your “oh, this character can farm this easily and get invited because I over gear it!” toon. If you are interested in playing your alt late in the season, then play your alt. Your argument is self-defeating.

This is not a complicated process. If you want to gear the character, play the character. If you do not want to play the character, do not gear the character.

What most of the community is not interested in is you pummeling your 405 blue geared alts with 447 crests cluttering up higher end content with zero skill, experience, or gameplay causing an overwhelming amount of frustration for everyone else because you K-Mart specialed your alt instead of earning gear on it.

When low keys grow heavily empty, leaving much longer time to fill groups. if you didn’t rush to high keys and mail your alts high key gear you are going to be begging friends to carry you. I know some people like one and done because it means they never have to play the character they clearly don’t want to play.

It would also push people into playing characters they have no full grasp how to play. So just like now how people dislike players buying key runs, joining new groups with false credentials then tanking the key, this will invite the same action. New players who don’t have heirloom are often yelled at because they are not overly geared.

Overall it throws off the pace of growing stronger in an RPG.

It’s a game what is there to earn? Your priorities in life seems wrong. And not talking about max crests. 437 crests would be enough.

Still don’t believe you are even in the bracket worth to complain about competition. you are probably just a small fry afraid of getting replaced by someone who isn’t carried in your team

I’ll bite. If you’re “such a big deal veteran” - you should have no issue getting your endless hordes of friends to carry you in 17+ content for gear funnel Hero tier items, and you should hit 447+ in no time. But wait, you can’t get into pugs on them - why? No friends to group with you? Not over-gearing it means no invite? Not high enough raiderIO from main to show on your alt to garner trust of invite?

I’ve never been shy about my characters, or my experience. I’m 7/9 Mythic, 2800+ M+ on 3 toons, and ended last season with 3 The Elite PvP titles from RSS - I do not PvP anymore. I have 4 characters over 440, 2 of which are over 445. Not that I owe the random troll-forum “poster” any information.

437 crests? You’re just trolling at this point. I can’t with you, my guy. You’re just goofy. If you want to gear your alt, play your alt. You should never be able to BIS-raid-gear-level gear your alt via playing your main.

As a reminder, this is not a thing that happens in any other “modern MMORPG”. Outside of what… maybe Path of Exile? but ARPGs are an entirely different type of game than MMORPG.

At least I now know that you life for the game. Don’t want to even imagine how many played time you have.

Not sure what is so funny about 437 crests. Seems like you have no clue at all.

Veteran track gear is some ABYSMAL Flightstone investment.

I mean I’m sitting capped on Flightstones most of the time on my main so it’s not like I have anything else to spend them on.

if u upgrade crests on 1 toon, it should apply to that slot for ALL alts PERIOD. Shouldn’t have to crest farm ever again, just get the dragon flightstones.
