Just recently came back to game and just casually messing around until 9.2 hoping to have a character ready to go, and hoping for some nice pvp changes
I will mostly just be doing world pvp and BGs, but will be hoping to get into PUG RBGS also to get conq
Are there any classes specs etc that will give me a better chance of getting invites to pugs? I’m a solo player so will be relying on them unless I can manage to find a regular group.
I’m happy to be dps or heals, and I have a Druid, shaman, Pally, priest, and thinking of leveling a monk
Any recommendations? Thanks
For DPS, a Boomkin or a Rogue will always get invites. Even if the group has 4 boomkins any smart group will take a 5th without question.
I found it 10x easier getting invites as a healer than dps and rarely see a tank that doesn’t get Insta invited

thats a good point, but boomkins are so overpowered i’d rather take a 10th boomkin than an actual healer.

If you dont Like boomy/Rogue you could go a TC role like warrior or dk. Ive been gearing my UH and was surprised at the amount of invites he gets.
Healer is definitely going to get you invited quick. Probably tank as well.
Guardian Druid with sleeper leggo is borderline mandatory at this point. Otherwise sub 2k you could play almost anything tbh but target callers are also often needed once you get organized (DK or warr usually)

I def wont be too worried about pushing high rating, so maybe just picking up a good healer/DPS combo is the play

I also like HPal and MW MOnk though in terms of heals. Would Ret or WW get a run sometimes? Sub 2k this is…
i find it upsetting other dps specs would get looked over for a boomkin. Ridiculous… No wonder rated is such a trash heap.

S tier - Afflic lock, boomkin, healers, gdruid, rogue
A tier - Spriest, warr, ret
B tier- ele, mm/bm hunter, mage, ww, fdk
kinda comp dependent as well tbh. If youre melee heavy, warr/ret/dk/ ww will all become very good together (S/a tier), but generally you see wizard cleaves with boomkins destroying everyone .
Sub 2k is there a healer preference? Or are pug groups just happy to take any spec that can heal?
Disc >>> HPal > MW / Rdruid > Rsham / Holy is the general order, but realistically, sub2k any healer would be taken. Disc is by far the best tho followed by hpal
Boomy with guardian offspec with legendary probably sits in queue about 6 seconds before getting picked up.
