Doesnāt mean itāll make it to the live version. But the changes are here.
Interesting, weāll see when the PTR hits the public i guess.
This is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

How do you know this is Classic stuff? Looks more like the bnet launcher stuff to me given the call of duty icons.

If you look at the first screenshot (threat API) it compare only the datas from the 1.13 version.
But, yeah, the COD icons are part of the changes

The threat api addition doesnāt appear to be anything substantial and will probably be used for a nameplate feature if I had to guess.
the AV changes are probably just more of the same, minor changes to address exploits.
adding a 4 slot bag for using an authenticator seemsā¦ unnecessary but whatever.
Adding healing and damage to the scoreboard is fine, itās less classic-like though.

The 4 slot bag change is just the Text on a tutorial string.
They changed the tutorial #51 from dungeon finder to authenticator bag size increase. Neither are used in Classic so highly unlikely that it will affect anything in classic.
If I go into my programmer mindset, Iād be willing to bet that they are looking at reusing those low numbered strings to consolidate wasted execution time, even if itās 0.001sec - that time adds up. In any case itās a glimpse a what we might see in the future and it looks a whole lot like weāre heading toward retail features being backported into classic.
At which point Iād just go play retail.
[Note: adding authentication bag slots and healing/dmg done to a scoreboard is not my breaking point.]

Also, the Classic client is based off the Retail one so some of these things might simply be stuff that snuck back in from the Retail client during development. It happens quite a bit as changes are merged during the development process.
New AV changes? Iām Moist
Knowing blizzard itās to fix Alliance from holding the druids for rep lmao.
That way Alliance have no reason to que for AV.

99% loss rateā¦
Iām sure that 1% is there to win and not get rep rewards.

bleed over from retail, not likely to be part of classic.
potentially more retail bleed over, and not likely to be part of classic.
Still blaming your loss rate on everything beyond lack of actually trying.
There is absolutely nothing that blizzard could do to make HPH of AV comparable to WSG and AB for alliance, due to their fast queues. Nothing. Additionally, alliance would get even less HPH if they actually tried in AV, because it would mean longer games.
I would absolutely LOVE for blizzard to make all of the changes you people have been harping for endlessly. Not because they would make an ounce of a difference, but to finally lay that stuff to rest once and for all.

Potentially, but only time will tell. Loads of stuff can bleed over from retail because they used the same server structure and client structure.
Still assuming how we all play huh?
Still know the map imbalance of the cave Rez yet you still reply to AV posts knowing itās imbalanced?
Still think itās about HPH as always huh?
