PTR Heirloom Upgrades cost 15000g and 22500g

Maybe you should stop being poor.

Heirlooms are a luxury, not an entitlement.

This is too high for 110 to 120.

How much were the old tokens? 5k?

Maybe you should stop being a shill and think critically for once.

If it’s too high, then don’t buy em. Yes, the previous ones were 5k for armor, 7500 for weapons. Things scale the higher you go, that’s kinda how things work. Also, just because an upgrade exists doesn’t mean you must buy it. Leveling in Legion is still pretty quick these days, with Invasions and Warmode and such.

I’m thinking rather critically in regards to you becoming the Bernie Sanders of GD, decrying the wealth of the 1%.

Whether or not I can buy them has no impact on whether or not they’re priced too high.

Putting yourself out there as some sort of whale then making comments like that has me questioning.

You’re under the impression I can’t afford them. I can afford them but that doesn’t mean they should be so grossly overpriced. Again, you’re going to sit there and defend it so not sure why I even bother replying to you.

I don’t see a reason to level them past 100

with the level scaling, heirlooms not worth the gold for me.

Since it is a reasonable price for a luxury item, like the AH bronto or the spider mount, yes.

Luxury items do not affect gameplay. Heirlooms affect gameplay. They are NOT a luxury item.

Never once complained about a mount price because at the end of the day it’s a mount that goes the same speed as my other mounts. Heirlooms are different.

It is the PTR

The whole game is a luxury. Blizzard should be making products that please their customers.

Heirlooms are the definition of a Luxury Item. You don’t need them but they add a little QoL to your gameplay. Trimming a few hours off the 110 to 120 leveling experience is a luxury. That’s it.

I think the price is correct for the current state of the economy.

I like games better where the gold seller isn’t the same one setting the prices for things.

Broken things on PTR tend to not get fixed and go live.

Now you have gone completely stupid.

This is my running theory for basically any of their dumb choices.

Game has gone from reasonable time sink in the mundane activities to some idiotic design where you either spend lots of time or drop lots of gold to subvert the time requirement. It’s a horrible design model that seems to be increasing in popularity from devs across the industry.

Can’t have a game that you can just outright enjoy, no. Gotta have chores and time sinks that are inherently undesirable so you push the premium currency and rake in those MTX.

which usually doesn’t get fixed (“They’ll fix it beta”), then the same issue in beta doesn’t get fixed (“They’ll fix before release”), and then makes it into live “to be fixed in a later patch.”

If they fix it when it’s identified, they don’t have to worry about it again, right?

Things like this used to scale at proportional rates. You’d be charged more, but you’d also be making a lot more. Now? They just charge more without bumping the earnings players can make. As a matter of fact, they nerfed the gold players can make hard two xpacs in a row. If you think we’re making 5x the gold we did, you’re delusional.

Leveling from 110 to 120 is pretty quick and effortless, if you can’t afford it you’ll be fine.

Otherwise, you have some time before they’re in the game, go farm to make the gold you need on the AH.
