Shaw is obviously planning on backstabbing Anduin… He also probably plans on backstabbing Jaina.
Funny how in Zuldazar he stated of Sylvanas: “She’s the real problem here. I imagine she is already finding ways to turn this to her advantage.” yet seems to be Anti-Horde like Admiral Rogers and Tyrande…
Y’know I’m starting to wonder exactly how small a window of time Naz’jatar is supposed to take place within? Like, is it meant to be really short canonically … essentially dropped through the map and fight for your lives sort of short? I know that Lor’themar, Nathanos, and Jaina were on the very boats that crashed into the zone … were Feathermoon and Thalyssra as well?
At the very least I suppose I could sort of buy Tyrande NOT being there if that is the case (as she’d have no reason to be on Alliance Navy vessels with whatever she’s doing in Kalimdor … while Feathermoon does work A LOT with the Seventh Legion these days; so she could have been on those pursuing ships). I dunno … maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree.
I’m sure … and that’s what worries me. Tyrande has been out of the limelight for too long for my comfort. I have this … awful feeling that with the parallels she has going for her with both Liadrin AND Kael; we might end up seeing a little Kael out of her before she whiplashes back into the Liadrin story parallels. That … bodes poorly for her immediate future IMO.
Also, screw it … I’m going to say it. Azshara (by all indications) is not dead by the end of the Naz’jatar Raid. She’s sealed, but lets be honest … imprisoning (rather than outright killing) ANYONE in this franchise is essentially an excuse to leave the door open to them getting released down the road. If that IS the plan with the Queen of the Highborne (and she is meant to make a return once her hubby N’Zoth gets released) … perhaps its not the most important thing for Tyrande to be there for round 1 of 2?
Probably just wishful thinking on my part I suppose…
In earlier builds there was broadcast text with Nathanos telling you to help Occuleth help the survivors and Occuleth has dialog where he waits behind at a drop to teleport any other survivors that come along to the bottom of the cliff.
I get the feeling that it is Jaina and Shandris on the Alliance side and Thalyssra, Occuleth and Lor’themar on the Horde side with Nathanos leaving early to do his own secret mission. It isn’t entirely suprising. Sylvanas did intent to have the bigger potential threats on the Horde leadership involved so any casualties would be the less loyal.
