If you enjoy spending hours trying to get a group together and stop mid questing to walk miles to a dungeon entrance when there are no summons, just keep using LFG. You can explore the world as much as you want, there is even an achievement for it.
But if you complain that RDF will “ruin the social aspect of the game because people will just use it instead”, then you just proved the whole point of the thing.
If it wasn’t good, people would not use it.
The only part of the socialization occurs when you spam the LFG channel and someone answers. Inside the dungeon, it’s the same thing with or without RDF.
By the way, I made more friends running RDF and adding them for more queues in the future than I ever had in Classic.

As far as I remember, in the original Wotlk, it was not like that.
People who wanted a better group, with better geared people, had the option to get their own group going. People who wanted to just run pugs, did it using RDF.
We had options. Now we don’t.

You are not forced to play WotLK Classic with no RDF. Go play retail if you want more QoL features.

By following your logic, since it was an original feature of Wotlk, Blizzard could just remove or add anything they wanted so you guys would stop crying about “those damn filthy casuals”, right? Why don’t they just remove the mounts from the game so everyone just walks around?

So what? It was an original feature of the expansion?
Expansions are made to add and remove stuff. If you want to keep playing the version without RDF, go back to TBC or Vanilla. They didn’t have it.
By the way, I play the game for the PvP. Got really happy with the addition. But I’m not selfish, and I want people who don’t pvp or are still leveling to have an option THAT EXISTED IN THE GAME ORIGINALLY.

And in these Classic expansions, they added layers (which I’m sure you’re a fan of) and removed RDF. Expansions are made to add and remove things.

I only make my dungeon groups by using the in game mail and writing in ye-old English
