You know what, i didnt like him at first, but he reminds me of ya friends kid brother that just wants to be a part of the game, even if he is playing with a controller thats not plugged in.
I forgive you Luuba, your controller is definantly plugged in little buddy, you can play with us.
A few years ago I had an experience in a BG that went like this:
Random character who hit max level literally 10 minutes before queuing was queuing and got put into the same BG as me, Warsong Gulch. The person in question had less hp than what a normal Shadow Bolt would deal in damage, and the person kept running and grabbing the enemy flag. Kept dying and gave it back to the enemy team, so I told 'em to not grab the flag anymore.
Another player started harassing me, even whispering me, telling me how I was awful for telling a player how to play. The person who kept doing it also whispered me apologizing and saying that they didn’t know that they were unintentionally griefing the team. Here’s the takeaway:
I will ALWAYS defend a player’s ability to queue, participate, or otherwise engage in the content that’s available to them … but that doesn’t mean that a player is free from critique or even fault. When a player is griefing the team, unintentionally or intentionally, in terms of dungeons that means vote kicking them is fine. No matter if it is Normals, Heroics, LFR, or anything else where this is applicable. Helping a player to get better is something more people should strive to do, but other players cannot be expected to have to be teachers everytime we encounter another player.
So… yeah.
Most folks aren’t going to care but considering you also said this happened:
Seemed like there were greater issues than merely a bad dps, but even if there were more issues than just a bad DPS, someone who is underperforming that grossly need help outside of a dungeon environment. Simple as that.
No. I’m doing that same low DPS. I look up everything, read everything, and I actually can’t hit 50k. And you know what I do? Follower dungeons. As I should.
If you’re so brimming with sympathy it should be for me, who did the right thing and stayed out, and chose not to ruin your group.
My damage meter is on for any dungeon, it’s how that addon works you know. Gives me an idea of how I am doing, and consequently allows me to help others that might be struggling.
The trick is to sneakily aim your Divine Storm to collect more groups, that way it looks like an accident. Even hit em with a “dang blizzard needs to fix that still huh”.
only WoW’s horrible playerbase can produce people malding in normal dungeons where trash packs die in 5 seconds – 10 seconds if the tank solos the mobs. realistically it’s probably some dad gamer who doesnt have a damage addon and doesnt have a clue or give a damn because it’s a regular dungeon. as long as one person is pushing their buttons it really doesnt change the pace in a meaningful way.
