Flying is a thing. Nobody said you had to stand there and be fodder.
If you’re low enough to interact with a quest giver, you’re low enough to be infected when they 'splode. (Don’t ask how I know.)
Fly higher? I mean really the literal 2 seconds or so to go down once it is live isn’t going to make any difference.
Maybe it is just late and am tired and not seeing the issue.
There is no issue. There won’t be any zombies. But the last couple of days while I was running alts, there were so many that flying was no refuge. If you were low enough to click a quest giver, at least 50% of the time you would get caught in a zombie explosion. I never once landed by the NPCs I needed to interact with, but sometimes I got infected anyway.
Won’t matter, zombies disappear for good in less than 24 hours. Good riddance.
Fair enough. I plan to be on earlier than normal tomorrow to avoid potential login issues even if I’m not actively playing. I’ve no issues just hovering high in the sky if so.
