It’s essentially a time gated forum where they use being able to post links, etc… as rewards. What they do ingame they’ve now done on these forums.
Why? Idk, I think it’s redundant.

I believe I am trust level 0? I did have to take a forced 3 day vacation for using the other S word when describing “taking away our insert word here”

How does that even work? I can still see forums when I’m not logged into forums.
If you log in while fully banned, a page pops up that says you can’t participate. Your only option is to log out, you can’t view the forums while logged into that account.
still no idea what trust level is or where its even located.

Kinda sorta. In vanilla, you could literally AFK to HWL/GM rank. My guild leader AFK’d to WL. Here, you can join a posting clique and give each other fake likes and spam every thread you find, even if you have no stake in it and you will get trust 3. It’s kind of an awkward system.

You can lose Trust LVL 3 if you quit posting on “that toon”, or Do some sort of Change to your char/realm/name etc, or Be very very bad and get in trouble often!
Although getting in trouble probably is account wide, where as the other issues are per character.
Im sure its not at the top of their “To Do” list, but i will be thankful once it becomes account wide (the trust levels)!
This whole trust level 3 thing is stupid. You can get banned for literally anything in the forums. I’ve seen people banned for saying how much cooler the horde is or even crazier, simply disagreeing with another persons opinion…
Or cracking a simple joke, even though Blue posters do the exact same thing yet… people can post 100% pure derogatory insults, stalk others and nothing happens. Double standards are a new cool.

I’ve been making a half-hearted effort to get TL3 and been on the forums for weeks (wait for it) GRINDING.
Then the forum moderators removed the portals. Sigh.
