1/ Exact;y - I contacted twitch - they said to contact Blizz. 2. It wasn’t in the area it was supposed to be - I checked. The other two worked fine. And yes, asmogold. Have receipts.
Well Twitch lied to you then, Blizzard has NOTHING to do with the code being rewarded on Twitch. Literally it is rewarded in the Twitch app, Blizzard doesn’t have access to Twitch, they ONLY can reward the pet AFTER the code is entered. If you are not getting the code from Twitch you would need to continue to ask them why you aren’t getting it.
You are aware that the subs are not for WoW and are subs for the streamer yes? Like there is nothing to be done in WoW. There is no requirement to watch a streamer, you simply have to gift two subs to the streamer.
How did you gift them? You cannot use a sub for yourself or a free Prime subscription. They must be gifted to someone else.
You can gift them to random people ( I believe this is called gifting to the channel), but you cannot do it anonymously.
The code comes in your Twitch notifications at the top right. It is a 17-digit code in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx. If you did not get this code, then you did not successfully complete the requirements.
If you didn’t get the code from Twitch, then you need to talk to them. Once you get the actual 17-digit code, redemption of that code would be on Blizzard’s end.
What $150 pack are you referring to? If you mean the 12-month deal, then no, you cannot use Battle.net Balance for it. It is a subscription, which you cannot use Balance for.
On the contrary, most people are having no issue. That’s not meant as a slight to you, as I understand your frustration. But to say that “no one knows what’s going on” is just not accurate.
Take a deep breath. We can try to help you get on track to getting the pet.
This was a little confusing to me too but the response from Foxmulder helped! To those still confused, when reading the notification on Twitch the code is actually 5 sets of letters/numbers separated by dashes, not 4 as the redeem website seems to suggest. So, make sure you don’t miss the 1st part of the code which is on the 2nd line of the notification. The notification reads:
You received rewards for World of Warcraft!
Click here to redeem your code: XXXX-
XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Don’t miss that first set of the code on the line that starts click here.
It would be found in your Notifications on Twitch, not your Rewards.
I had posted the other day about the process I used to gift my subs. Is this how you did your subs?
Here is the process that I used the other day when I did it.
While you are watching an approved Twitch streamer (on Blizzard’s list in their article about the promo) who is actively live streaming while playing World of Warcraft, you will purchase 2 subs for that streamer’s community (i.e., other people actively watching that stream) to use to subscribe to that streamer’s channel on Twitch.
Here is where you click on a streamer’s page:
That button will then open up this menu:
Also, you cannot gift anonymously and have it count for the promo, so do NOT click that option.
Once you purchase the 2 subs, this is what you will see in the stream:
The system will randomly pick viewers and award them the sub you purchased.
Once you have purchased the 2 subs, then you will get the code for the pet in your Twitch notifications:
Also, to add to this. You can pick specific viewers, as well. “Gift to the Community” will pick random people, but “Gift a specific viewer” works as well.
But to reiterate, you CANNOT gift anonymously for it to count.
Just gifted two non anon obv, and no code, how long does this thing take to come in?
How would anyone here know? The code is a Twitch thing. You would need to ask Twitch.
Is the streamer live and streaming Dragonflight? These things are a requirement.
Are they on the approved streamer list? Not every streamer is on the list for the Ichabod pet. The Ichabod pet is different than the rest of the drops.
Do they have the drops enabled? This is a setting the streamer must opt into. Just putting a “!Drops” in their channel title doesn’t mean they have activated drops.
I put my code in manually typing it without dashes and it worked.
Yes it was max from limit.
For what it’s worth, I just did the thing. It took about an hour (actually it looks like an hour to the minute) from the time of processing the subs to the notification popping up. Typed in the code, dashes and all, and went right through.
The minute u gift 2 subs to an eligible streamer you click the notification box at the top of twitch next to prime symbol, there u write down u code, the code starts at end of second line.
I wonder if it is because I used paypal or something
I actually used PayPal myself. Amazon Pay kept borking out on me so I was curious as to how long it would take for things to push through since I know sometimes things can hang up with PayPal.
hello do you know if the prime suspcription counts for this reward?
You can’t gift a prime subscription, so no. It has to be 2 gifted subscriptions to a eligible streamer who is live, and streaming under the #warcraft category.
ok then, so i have to go to a eligible streamer channel and the gift two subscriptions to any viewer?
