I’m trying to start over completely. I have to go through and find all the FF files and remove them.
Not an easy task.

If it doesn’t work, then I’ll go back to steam but I really don’t like having too many invasive things on my computer.

  • Oh, and once you click on the activation key, the version is non-refundable so I’m out the $ if I go back to steam.
    Still, at least it isn’t a lot of money but this is a stupid setup.

If you’re on Steam, you should be able to do so through the steam UI.

Under your Library, right click on the game, click “Manage”, and then Uninstall.

It should remove most of the game files.

You may still have a FF14 folder in “My Games” where it saves screenshots and other configuration files.
