too many main story quests and too much filler!
ease up on the story and redundant pre WQ MSQs! give us the minimum possible and let the other "pet the bee quests " become side quests so we can just play the game…

questing is the game.
perhaps solitaire is more your speed.
No, I’d like more. For TWW I felt the MSQ was too short.
You do realize petting the bees IS the side quest? You don’t have to do the eco dome story at all to unlock the raid
S1 was 100% a “this is it..?”. It felt over way too soon
Comparing to Legion Remix I would say that TWW MSQs are actually short.
After redoing Legion’s campaign, TWW felt short.
I think Suramar alone was longer.
Found the FFXIV player.
I still believe the bees and ecodome were set to the wrong quest type (i.e. campaign). And they’re silly.
But other than that, more quests would be fine.
As an OCD-stricken WoW addict and mild completionist, I’d far prefer more ‘MSQ’ and fewer side quests to keep tabs on.
Yes me too. Replaying legiom made me remember so many main and side quests. Legiom is iconic
We could do both. Add more campaign quests while making the campaign completely optional instead of tying it in as an end game requirement.
This way there would be more for people that like it and none for people that don’t.
That’d be ideal from my perspective.
I just don’t think Blizz would enjoy that most people would skip their campaign completely and just grind to cap with dungeons then go straight to end game.
Yeah, TWW’s core campaign was already super-truncated compared to any other expansion. There are a good 2-3 side-questlines in every zone that really should’ve been part of it. (like Moira reclaiming Fearbreaker and all the stuff in Hallowfall that builds up the Arathi’s inability to reach home and the growing cultist problem)
I was always under the assumption that Blizzard reorganized a few things at the last minute and overcorrected from DF a bit too much.
they were set as campaign quests…as side quests they are fine. and why are we doing dragonflight the abomination as campaign quests? keep all the quests, just make them side quests…double the number of side quests, just don’t make them campaign quests…
The questline to unlock this raid was short as well. What they are talking about is the optional dome content. They couldn’t make this stuff easier to unlock. They use to have us attune for raids. And that was really something to complain about.
WoW’s MSQ is like a couple hours long. It’s not that big of a deal.
That’s not MSQ stuff. That’s for the eco-dome stuff.
It’s essentially still attunement it’s just much shorter. So I see it as simply being a relic of the past to require it at all.
I understand that it’s much less of a process now but it’s still just kind of an out of date concept at all. I don’t think it would really hurt anything other than their campaign participation metrics to scrap it.
Many like to insinuate it is the main questline ![]()
it was marked as a campaign quest…
It is a campaign quest, I think, but only a portion of the campaign is required to access the raid. Which is kind of why I’m like “Why are they requiring it at all if we just get let off at a stop somewhere along the way?”
