It is becoming really toxic in the gamma instances. I’ve been noticing players being vote kicked and the reason given is gs is too low. We all know that you can queue for specific difficulties if your gs appropriate. So if you can queue for the tier you are looking to run then who are these players who decide such. You are killing the game for those players. It is also a pain when someone dies, everyone leaves… What a shame, it really is. Talk about throwing your dummy out…

It takes around 5 minutes now for anyone to initiate a vote kick in instances. Are people just sitting around waiting for it to be available, just to kick someone with low GS?
It’s been a problem ever since they added Mythic Titan Rune dungeons to WoW honestly. Only difference then was you wouldn’t get invited to groups in the first place, or people would leave your group once they saw your GS and deemed it too low.
Buffing dungeons to the point where they were tedious if you ran them with a full party of people that could actually use the gear that dropped, while simultaneously giving extra current tier emblems for running the dungeon ensured that people would only be interested in overgeared dungeon runs.
On the bright side, regular heroic queues are actually not that long now that RDF is in the game. It’s gone from spending 30+ minutes trying to assemble a a group to run a dungeon (because nobody would read notes) to 10-15 minute queues as DPS. You can farm a decent amount of gear and T9 through just killing bosses for emblems.
I only run FoS so I don’t see kicks often, but normally they’ll clear a few trash packs while votekick is on CD, then kick once its up.

I have been running the crap out of Gamma’s and a majority of the time I am the one with the lowest GS. The only issue I ever had was a group with a non English speaking tank running Gamma Old Kingdom. He thought he could just chain pull without stopping and when the group wiped due to everyone died of web wrap he left and the group fell apart. I guess that’s not really the same as vote kick but that’s been about the worse I have seen in Gamma dungeons with LFD.

Okay, so just pretend that they wrote “low performance” instead of “low gs” as the reason. Problem solved.

You’re not telling us everything. With over 500+ RDF runs easily by now, across all toons, I’ve seen vote kick happen like 4 times. Maybe 5. All of which were for either toxicity or afk/non-participation.
Just 2 weeks ago I boosted a toon to 80. Got full Furious and never got kicked. Got bare minimum to queue. It’s what, 4,2k gs? Never got kicked. (Elem shamy). In 2 weeks I’ve spammed enough RDFs to get like 5 pieces of gear from Scourgestone vendor.(250’ish stones?) Both trinkets, weapon+shield+neck.
And when I run on my 6.2k gs toon, I’ve never seen anyone getting kicked for low gs.
I’m sure there are some elitists for dungeons out there. But their number is very little and only happens within some toxic premades. I’ve noticed hispanic guild premades tend to be toxic, but it’s their payback to us for being toxic towards them in all other forms of content.
So if you’re getting kicked, or someone else is getting kicked, the odds are, they are the cause.
