Prot Warrior comps?

I was looking at the front page of the ladder and noticed 3 of the 4 warriors on page 1 are specced prot. While it looks like 2 are the same person, im not sure about the 3rd.

I haven’t really touched 3v3 this season, but im curious to know what prot warrior comps are finding success and why its working better than arms/fury from a ranking perspective.

I’ve seen Prot/Unholy very high rated in 2’s.

I feel it. I imagine its horrible to face. as a warrior atm though, i feel everything for me is horrible to face.

I’d argue historically prot is awful to face because of how hard they are to kill and how annoying their cc’s/roots are.

however, in this meta everything lives forever. I can’t imagine prot being the worst thing to face compared to other comps on ladder right now.

I usually see them with monks. Both dps and heals.

Oh they’re playing prot warrior shadowpriest rdruid.

Warrior charges. Thunderclap roots. Monk fist slow. Way of the crane. 5% physical damage increase from mystic touch. High mobility dps and healer. Enemy team can hardly move their toons while the prot comp has infinite mobility.

I think they mostly queue WW Prot MW but I could be wrong.

Yea went up against ww prot, I couldnt really move or cast. It was a b*tch

I guess i should use a disclaimer that i dont play prot, and i main arms/fury. Just more or less curious to why the highest rated warriors in 3s are currently prot.

I guess it just speaks to the state of BFA, or warriors in general atm.

I always think to myself it could be worse. It could be gladiator stance all over again if ppl remember that broken stance lol.

Warriors aren’t bad. They just don’t feel fun i think. Other classes have more things. Protection comps are aids, but they have things i wish i had on my team when i played with say An arms war. Like mass spell reflect. That ability is too good.

I’ve faced these prot warriors a lot last season and this season. Typical prot/frost dk. Or prot/ww. Those are the 2 variations I’ve seen thus far
