In 2v2 arena. If I fight a prot paladin and anything else I will lose. They will heal as much as a healer and dps just slightly less than a normal dps.
Why can a tank heal as much as a normal healer and never run out of mana?
I will lose 90% of the games against a prot. The other 10% is if they are straight trash.
I am que’n with a healer each game. Even with combo cc’n they are unkillable. They can keep healing infinitely.
TLDR: Why havent prot paladins been nerfed in healing for pvp?
It’s a competitive-ish spec but it’s not god mode like you say it is.
If you look at statistics prot isn’t dominating any bracket whatsoever and most highly rated prots have a 50%-60% win rate which is average.
So the real question is, why don’t you play better?

I feel fury is rough atm since it’s defensives rely a lot on life steal and it’s a one shot meta
You gotta understand you need a really high iq to get Pro paladins. There is a lot of subtly in being a broken spec and trying to defend it on the forums. Basically you become abomb where you roll tank, its broken, it gets nerfed, you rage quit, and you then join the next expac and repeat the process.

Blizzard probably won’t nerf prot paladins for pve reasons. But their WOG heals shouldn’t be usable on other players or should atleast be nerfed by 75% when used on other players. It’s okay if they’re invulnerable as long as they can’t substitute a healer and do damage at the same time.
I don’t see anything wrong with defending your spec tbh. But he has a point. Prot paladins don’t dominate the way most ppl think they do. Instead of criticizing the players, criticize their ideas, he isn’t being a dick, he’s proposing a valid argument.
This was probably the worst take on prot paladin healing I’ve ever seen. 75% reduc? That’s literally useless. WoG not usable on other players? That literally defeats the point of word of glory. WoG has always been able to be casted on other players, it’s been like that for years, why are you trying to change something so fundamental?
