I also think the big cool downs to LoH - coupled with the 30% increased armor buff - and the new (for 11.0.5) talent Light’s Revocation (which you mention here), that allowed for pretty nice ‘double active cheat death,’ in the form of a LoH followed - if need be - closely with bubble.
I’m interested to see how the CD of LoH will be now, with what appears to be a reduced amount of ‘procs’ from Laying Down Arms (since we’ll have less random armament procs - 50% less), especially when combined with the Tirion’s Devotion talent, felt like LoH was available when I needed it - though I’m only doing 10’s and tip-toeing into 11’s.
That said, I really don’t know how much more the survival will change pull to pull in M+ based on these, but definitely the damage will drop.
I don’t think it will change the loh cd much since the proc rate was 1 per minute. Now it’s 1 per 1.5min. so in a 20 min dungeon you go from 300sec reduction to 200sec reduction. That’s like not even 2min of cd reduction over the dungeon…
I think what might be more noticeable is less tempered in battle from the reduced armament uptime. Or the reduced free shining lights by ~7 in a 20min dungeon. We shall see.
What’s more interesting though is how even with that nerf divine inspiration still demolishes forewarning which would give like 5 extra armament casts in a 20min dungeon… Who balanced that

Interesting. Is it correct to say that it (originally) had a built in ICD of 60 seconds? And with the changes this Tuesday it’s now 90 second ICD?
Yes. It’s ICD was 60s. Now presumably it’s 90s.
I think if dps nerf is the goal maybe they should just make it proc bulwark only for prot or something.

Then M+ shouldn’t be timed.
You really wanna go that route with that dumb argument?
