I really hope classic MoP comes too. I’ll play it from day one, until I get my pandaren phoenix, so this wound will finally be healed.
Do they? I dunno about Naxx, since I never bothered to try getting it (considering the hidious cost of the vendor materials) but I hardly ever see anyone going to the others. I did a few runs of Scholo and Strath to get some patterns but the tedium of grinding them ad nauseum eventually drove me away. All that is a bit different from obtaining unique skins/appearances that were from a single player activity specifically time limited.
Ultimately, do I care if they do? Not particularly, but I’d personally prefer their development time be spent on new stuff, not rewarming old things.
This was a hot button topic that was already settled. This isn’t something Blizz settled long time ago either, but rather recently. And the verdict was - they’re not coming back.
Ask for new challenge with new rewards.
I think the only problem with that is we’ll end up right back where we are: people desperately trying to find a way to bring back the old stuff.
I feel like recolors are a good way to go.

To play double dog devils advocate (idk how that works out of there’s a term for that):
Most would believe it was promised as time limited to keep subs during times of lulls. Which makes sense as when we were told “you have six months” people were logging in, prepping and getting it done.
Now that we have “whatever” as a time limit; some of us are still at ?/7 on the current mage tower achievement for the book mount.
We can leave at any time and resub to continue at a later date. That’s not great for sub retention.
Edit: blizz has been pretty lazy/reluctant to continue with “mage tower” content every expansion. Now that we have the trading post giving us unprecedented mogs/pets/mounts for the low low cost of being subbed, they may get more reluctant yet.
Be careful! You’ll be told this is “disrespectful” and a “poor attempt to shut down the conversation.”

They keep the Math goblins in the basement and let them out for snacks after they come up with a new way to solve a revenue problem.
I suppose the lore was “this demon did a bad in dalaran bank so we chased him down and killed him” with the obvious problem with bringing it back being “… and killed him.” though with demons that hasn’t stopped things before

I have 36/36 og mage tower rewards, just bring the weapon appearances back even I am inconvenienced since I have to unlock the side colors on the characters I did og mage tower on rather then any character of that class(ie expansion boosted allied race characters made after legion). Having more rewards and things to do can only be a good thing anyway.

For what it’s worth; I’ve found the mage tower harder now than during legion because it’s impossible to just outgear it now.
I think I did 20/36 back in the day and too be honest the last 5 or so were just to say I did it as I didn’t really care for them but I still played the class occasionally. I was halfway through frost dk when the server went down and mage tower was removed. My dk was in lfr purples and had green questing weapons on and I was still blasting through it due to vers buff.
I still think the postmaster quest is really, really hard too.

Very true, and it works, it’s a passive and somewhat effortless way of achieving a similar goal, because there will be people coming back to get something from the trading post here and there.
And speaking about the trading post… I’m not aware if blizzard has said anything until now, but I’ve already seen a lot of people asking if things from previous months will eventually be back lol. Give it some more time and this might turn to be as bad as this entire “limited time stuff” drama that has already been going for years.
I’m pretty sure quite a few items have made two rounds on the post already. Even the grotto drake is supposed to be somewhere in 10.2
Sounds perfectly fine to me honestly… I was only able to get the bear druid form and the tiger fists for my monk before they took away my chance at the rest. If anything it’d give me a chance at the owl druid staff I missed out on and I believe the mage skins were quite something too but my mage was nowhere near ready to try the challenge when the skins were taken away.
On another note for those among us who like myself got one in time… I would like to ask do I need the artifact weapon in my bags or equipped when I do either the PvP requirement or killing the raid boss required for the missing tints? The black werebear looks amazing but idk…I’m not sure I’d be able to do the PvP for it without a lot of help but I can smoke the raid boss for the blonde bear. Just…wondering if I need to have the weapon in my bags to acquire the skin or worse do i need to wear them when i do?
Yeah, there is the Grotto Netherwing dragon coming back, but as far as I know this one had quite the backlash and it might have been the reason as to why it’s coming back lol, and not even in the trade post, as a reward for a quest. Not sure if everything will eventually be back, but it might.
Another thing is that I don’t quite understand is why the trading post still has everything in a monthly rotation. It clearly has “3 tiers” of items, so I always thought they should have a monthly, weekly and daily rotation. IF they do plan on bringing all things back eventually that would surely help, specially for all the items in the middle and the bottom of the list as those would change faster.
I disagree with this proposal. I think they should unlock all mage tower appearances for everyone automatically. I’ve got them all already because I was bored at the end of Legion and had the time and interest to beat every single scenario on every single spec, but it’s been almost a decade, and frankly I don’t care.
They should also give everyone the brutosaur for free. I already paid 5,000,000 gold for it, but I would get more enjoyment out of everyone else who did the same crying when it’s given for free to everyone else.

They are absolutely pumping out stuff every month at the moment which I think is pretty amazing. I feel like at some point though they will slow down and that’s when we might start seeing “fan favourites” returning. That could be in a year or three though.
Darkmoon harlequin, the broom and all the low-fantasy mogs are my favourite items in the game though.
That opinion might be a bit too strong for Wow players at this time!
But now that they have the sub retention problem partially solved with trading post (honestly better than a mage tower every expansion could have ever been) maybe they will start to relax on some limited time stuff.

As far as I remember no, but didn’t they change most challenges in BFA? I mean for those who unlocked the ability to do them but didn’t really finish during Legion.
I’m pretty sure you don’t need to wear them tho, if anything have it on the bag which shouldn’t really be a problem.
Oh yeah it’s good for sure, I’m not really complaining, but there are “lesser” items there, and I wouldn’t really see a problem if we had more of those or they rotated faster than the special items on the top of the list, like all those 50, 100, 150 items.
