He mentioned SoD development will end at some point, it’s not intended to be forever. They plan to continue making SoD content for “many many many months”. He did confirm the servers arent getting turned off.
Feels like SoD goes into a quasi era realm setup at some point but when, and how much/what content is after P8 is not really known.
Also, I do think Classic+ is the next major announcement coming and SoD was the precusor to prove player interest, test concepts and get resources (money) lined up to start development.

We’ve known this for months. This isn’t news.
i mean this will be the last bit of content out for the servers, but the servers will stay up to play on. Without some new pvp content they’ll have a shelf life for most people I reckon but you don’t have to stop playing just because there won’t be additional raids.
If that is the peak, that means 7 more phases on the other side that are smaller in scope. At least by your definition

Well they sure af know now.
If anything, it’ll be put into a semi-maintenance mode. With maybe a dungeon every quarter and a raid every year. Nothing fancy.
