Lol I learned about puberty on the tail-end of Elementary school, 4th and 5th grade.
Yeah, parents signed a permission slip first, there were some that didn’t want their kids to learn it at school.
We had a health teacher talking to us about everything, kids giggled as they do, but in the end we learned what sex actually was, and how to be responsible with it, abstinence (lol) STI’s, health and whatnot.
I’d rather take that class than end up being a sheltered teen/adult that doesn’t learn anything about sex until later.
I felt well-prepared and knowledgeable for my age, I probably knew more about it than actual adults because they never had “the talk” and parents are notorious for avoiding the subject.
Kids should generally know before or around puberty so they know what they’re going through is natural. And because hormones are at their highest around that time.
Every bit of guidance helps.
Yes, yes it does lol, I read that back in High School. It’s also fairly violent at parts.

Are you somehow under the impression that people who have anything but the absolute default sexuality and gender identity are incompatible in some way with a fantasy world setting? It’s more like saying “People with red hair shouldn’t happen in fantasy, everyone knows that in a fantasy world no one has red hair!”
