Pronouns Question

Bro, I think you’re mixing up ESG with DEI, Bro.

ESG is the correct one economically speaking. It’s a social credit score that the current administration implemented allowing banks to determine how much/if any to lend to businesses.

Bro, No bank’s lending is impacted by pronoun usage Bro.

EDIT: One Bro could argue that is should be.

HEY!

What are you doing looking down there?

OFC, if Blizz ever implemented their own version of MRP, I can finally have both MRP & TRP3 running at the same time

my pronous are she/she because I’ll never be her :fire:

You are correct - they are for both. However, DEI is for hiring, not economics.

I don’t know if they would as it opens up visible backstories they would then need to police. Sometimes things are a bit better more closed off.

There already are pronouns. Him, he, she, her, they, us, we, them, their, it, etc. What are you referring to otherwise?

I believe the correct terminology is: “I desire to inform thou all that thou want to be using meet english”

I have no idea if that’s right, but the first translator to old English on Google told me it was and I really can’t be bothered to verify this further.

The internet told me to do it!

Though I actually had a female horse for most of the game when I played, or at least Arthur kept referring to her as a girl anyway.

True, this is why we can’t have nice things :sob:

IK the individual addon developers police their own addons, and you can report offensive profiles to them.

they’re probably waiting to see if people will stop with this nonsense

There are some (few, to my recollection) moments where they say “he” or “she” in relation to the player character in voiced dialogue.

As it should be

Bro, as this is a discussion about Pronouns (or Bronouns for some) this isn’t a discussion about the ESG given Pronouns (or Bronouns) language is not inherently a business decision. The discussion itself is about inclusion by expansive usage of Pronouns (or Bronouns) to make some customers feel more represented While yes, DEI is a driver for some ESG initiatives, the topic is specifically a DEI topic. DEI is more common associated with hiring because HR departments are useless black holes of money and wasted productivity, but DEI initiatives expand far past the hiring process. Bro.

“they” is fine, and should be encouraged.

It isn’t new, singular use of “they” has been used since before the eldest of folks today were born.

This is like, the bare minimum of respect people ask for. Pushing back against it can only be belligerence.

In FF14, it would be an impossibility to invent more pronouns. There are countless long voiced cut scenes where the player is addressed as either “he” or “she.” Even on the character select screen, there are only female and male, not nameless Body Type 1 and 2.

In contrast, WoW is already largely neutral and generally has very few cut scenes. Therefore, I find it quite unnecessary to open another thread in the forum about this and to even broach the topic.

Don’t forget Bro, Bro.

It is fine but should not be “encouraged” just for the sake of spearing some misguided feelings
