It definitely affects some raid bosses, because it did affect Maexxna in Naxxramas.
“It” feels too clinical to me.
If I’m unsure what to use, I’m a big fan of the singular they.
I’m very disappointed in a lot of the internet for not knowing that’s been a thing for hundreds of years.

Yeah… The language is designed in such a way that ‘it’ describes an inanimate object and is therefore neutral. Addressing a person this way is simply strange.
That’s why I’m quite relieved that this pronoun drama isn’t as extreme everywhere as it is in the USA.

I have zero patience, and I don’t give a damn about what unintelligent and purposefully ignorant and crappy buffoons think. So nah’, one can’t ever be “mean” enough towards someone like 'em.
Unlike you I’m not afraid to learn more than what is simplified knowledge for kids. The world is larger than what is taught to 6 year olds.
Even if you never got past that stage in your life.

That isn’t typically a thing that happens. It’s a myth perpetrated by problematic actors.
The three major sets of pronouns (she/her, he/him, and they/them) are a good groundwork to base off of.
Neo pronouns are a thing, and deserve the same respectful adherence upon requesr, but are much less commonly used. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who uses xi/xir for example (nor do I know when that set would even apply?) to the point, in major corporate settings like this game, its absence will hardly be felt.
I don’t think anyone is asking for an ever expanding list to choose from, just the three most commonly seen ones. (I would definitely support a larger list, but not specifically advocating to implement it over a general set. Like the way Starfield did it.

I would say it is more extreme in canada and the Uk. Both of which have implemented their own forms of hate speech laws.
Culturally it might be bigger in the U.S but I find the lawfare used to be much more of a problem.

I don’t recall the last time an NPC referenced my characters gender or pronouns. Tbh thought I don’t remember the last time I read the quests lol

Yeah once somebody tells me I generally have no problem using it so long as it comes with the understanding that my lizard brain might still mix it up at first. “it” still feels weird but if that’s what they wanna use, I’ll roll with it.

“No you” is only ever a “no u” thing if it isn’t true. When it is true it is just a genuine call out. As it stands, the dude has no redeemable quality to speak of. He’s genuinely weird so I’m just saying that … he’s weird.
I honestly think this is a pretty good summary of why Magni became a meme as well. “Champion, do my shoelaces” or “Hero of Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazaroth… get me a cup of tea” or whatever else bollocks like that.
Having played enough on RP realms I like pronouns because they open up for cool storytelling. When a story either really takes advantage of pronouns and manages them correctly it is a cool thing, or it can just be a nice thing when changing out “she/her” for “he/him” or vice versa.
… although this is just such a lazy attempt at pronoun-trolling. I mean c’mon… at least be more funny and start referring “him” as “murlocs” or something else like that if you are going to go for that.
Also can’t say I care to tolerate intolerance.

MRP is another good alternate to TRP3, and I can see Blizz implementing the MRP version, since it fits in better, when you pull up your character sheet/stats. And, MRP has a “Pronouns” section, as well.
I just prefer TRP3 > MRP because of the extra perks you get with TRP3 than with MRP but still, MRP is not a bad alternative, if Blizz is ever gonna implement a pronoun system.
I’m pretty sure the actual best innovation of the last 20 years is Red Dead Redemption 2 having horse genitals that react to cold weather.
That’s just peak gaming.
